It's the first day of the 2012-2013 school year at McKinley, and a very familiar face walks down the hallway.

Angela Hudson.

When Angie walks down the hallway, people immediately move out of the way. It reminded her of how people would part like the Red Sea for Quinn, Santana, Angie and Brittany when they were Cheerios. It made Angie feel a little uncomfortable. She was probably considered popular because she was a part of New Directions, the same glee club that just won a national championship not only two months ago. It was also the same glee club that endured slushees for three years.

It's been two months since graduation. Two months since Angie's husband, Finn, left for Fort Benning, Georgia. Finn had gone into the army, and she hadn't heard from him in weeks.

Angie's taking online classes at Lima University. She's majoring in teaching, and for extra credit... she's going to help Will coach the New Directions. They'd been talking about it all week, and Angie couldn't be more excited to coach a new group of kids to another Nationals.

Lo and behold, Jacob Ben Israel has a camera in her face. "Angie! Word on the street is that you've returned to McKinley because Finn Hudson left you over the summer." He says.

"That is false information. Finn left because he wanted to go into the army. Being the supportive wife I am, I encouraged him to go." Angie says as she continues to walk.

"Are you curious as to which senior will be the next Rachel Berry of the New Directions?" Jacob asks.

Angie whips her head around. "No I'm not. There's only one Rachel Berry, and she's in New York."

Angie is a bit peeved before she walks toward the choir room.

Will walks in seeing his seniors and juniors.

"Glee!" Will says and everyone cheers.

"We are coming off of a National Championship, but it's time to look forward. And thanks to Glee now being the coolest club in the school, that shouldn't be a problem." Will says.

Angie smiles sadly. Yes, they won their first national championship, but they lost most of their biggest voices of glee club: Rachel, Finn, Santana, Puck, Mercedes, Quinn, Kurt, and they no longer have her or Mike and their dance moves.

"Before I dive into anything else, I'm pleased to announce that I have a co-director this year. They've agreed to help us become two-time national champions." Will says.

"Please don't say it's Coach Sylvester again." Artie states.

Will smiles. "Give it up for Mrs. Angie Hudson!"

Angie walks into the choir room, seeing everyone's shocked faces.

"I'm back bitches!" She says and hugs Artie first. She hugs the other New Directions members and then hugs Will.

"I can't believe you're here. What about college?" Artie asks.

"Well... I'm taking online classes, and I told the Dean of Students that I could come out here and help coach you guys for some extra credit. I promise you guys... Mr. Shue and I are going to coach all of you to become a tight-knit wall of sound." Angie says.
