Blaine and Sam see that there's a signup sheet on the bulletin board for Grease auditions.
"Auditions are tomorrow. As president and vice president, we can pretty much decree which ever parts we want, right?" Sam asks.
Blaine sighs. "I'm not sure I'm gonna do the musical this year. I'm not in the right headspace to do a project like Grease. Since Kurt and I broke up, I haven't slept, I lost my appetite. I don't even gel on weekends."
"This is pretty serious, then." Sam says.
Blaine sighs sadly. "Sam, Kurt was my soulmate. We talked about spending the rest of our lives together. About retiring in Provincetown and buying a lighthouse and starting an artists' colony. And now he won't even return my calls. He won't text me. Hell, he won't even talk to me. He's gone. Maybe forever." He laments.
Sam sighs and pats Blaine's shoulder. "Dude, I get it, except for the lighthouse part. But look, everybody's been there. You'll get through it."
Blaine walks with Sam down the hall.
Blaine couldn't help but cry all the time. He had something good with Kurt. And that something good was ruined in seconds because of Blaine.
Blaine never wanted to be forgiven.

Blaine ends up singing 'Hopelessly Devoted to You' as his audition song for Grease.

Artie, Angie and Finn sit in the audience of the auditorium, clapping for Blaine. Though Angie and Finn aren't Blaine's biggest fans right now, he had a great audition song.
Artie wants Blaine to play Danny Zuko, but Blaine refuses. Instead, he wants the role of Teen Angel.
Did I mention Artie asked Angie and Finn to be his co-directors for the musical?

The next day after school, Angie and Finn sit with Artie, Mike and Mercedes in the auditorium to watch more auditions.
The first three were really bad.
"Next!" Artie says.
Marley and Unique perform 'Blow Me (One Last Kiss)' by Pink as a duet for their audition.

When they're done, they get applause from all three alumni and Artie.
"That was outstanding!" Mike applauds.
"You go girls!" Mercedes cheers.
"Yeah that's my girls!" Angie celebrates.
"What roles were you guys wanting?" Finn asks.
"Sandy. Definitely Sandy." Marley states.
Angie writes down Marley's name under the potential Sandy's.
"What about you Wade?" Mike asks.
"I'd like to play the role of Rizzo."

Finn sighs as he sits in the choir room with Angie, Mercedes, Mike and Artie.
"Okay, we need to do that thing where we call people back. What's that called?" He asks.
