"Did you reach safely?" He called me as soon as I entered the hospital. I smiled even though he couldn't see me through the phone.

I caught a stomach bug Derek was talking about but I blamed it on stress. He was right as always. He got me an appointment for today with some Dr. Richard. I told him it's not necessary and of course he didn't listen.

"Yes, daddy." I teased him. He worried a lot. I liked it sometime but most of the time it's annoying.

I Put the phone to my chest when I got to the reception area.

"Excuse me," I spoke, a middle aged women turned up to look at me. "I am Emmalin Grey. I have an appointment with Dr. Richard at 2:30," I informed her. She typed something on the computer and looked up at me.

"Oh yes, Miss Grey, please have a seat. Dr. Richard is with a patient now. She will see you shortly." Of course it's a she. What did I expect from my fiancé.

Fiancé. I smiled blissfully.

He proposed me a week ago and it was so beautiful. The proposal was the best and so was the ring. It's vintage and elegant. I loved it.

She smiled at me and I went to sat at the waiting area to talk to Derek.

"Call me as soon as you get checked up." He told me in his bossy tone.

"I will, I promise." I rolled my eyes. I wouldn't dare to awake a beast now would I?

He was busy so he couldn't come along and Taylor took the day off that's why I had to come alone.

The woman called me and I walked towards her.

"Listen, they are calling my name, I got to go," I hung up once I reached to her.

"Dr. Richard will see you now. Just take a right from down the hall." I left with a smile.

Once I opened the door to her clinic, I saw a woman in her forties. She had a beautiful face with a stunning personality.

"Hello, Miss. Grey," She smiled at me and gestured me to sit on the chair. "I see you caught a flu."

"Hello, Dr. Richard, call me Emma please and I guess I did," I scrunched my nose.

"I know it's not good at all," she chuckled and checked my blood pressure and asked me some questions.

"Did you get in contact with someone or have something unpleasant?" She asked me.

"No, I didn't but I do get sick in the morning or whenever I try to eat something and lately, I have been feeling a little dizzy and tired too." I explained her my problems.

"When did you have your last period?" She asked me.

"I never get my period on time, I am always late, sometime a week or days." I answered but I became anxious all of a sudden.

"It was because of stress," I tried to clarify her or for me I didn't know.

"Or perhaps you could be pregnant?" She leaned forward.

"I- I don- I- I don't know." I stammered.

"Then let's get that pregnancy test, shall we?" I agreed but I was more than nervous.

She called a nurse who handed me a container. I went to the bathroom and pissed on it.

What if she was right? What if I am pregnant?

I never thought about that, I just blamed everything on stress.

"Fuck," I cried out.

I joined her back and gave the container back to that nurse. After a minute or so she came with the result.
