Chapter 15 - Derek

It's been a month of us being an us . I wasn't searching for a relationship, I didn't even know I could love someone again, then she came into my life and changed everything. Now, I can't even think of living a day without her. Yes, she doesn't stay with me, yet and I am just waiting for her to agree on moving in with me. If it were on me, I would have shifted her to my house long ago, but I can't do that. I love her, I haven't told her that yet. I was just waiting for a perfect time. I looked at Emma through the window, she was busy with her work. I sighed and concentrated on my work.

After a while, Emma came into my office with her bag in her hand.

"Are you leaving?" I asked leaning forward, putting my hands on the desk.

"No, I am heading out for lunch."

"With the girls?" I asked with a smile. She hesitated before answering.

"I am having lunch with Will, today." She said, flashing her cute smile so that I wouldn't get angry.

"Why?" I got up from the chair and stood in front of her.

"What type of question is that?"

"I don't want you to meet him." I told her and she sighed.

"Well, I wasn't asking. I came here to inform you, now I am going."

"I don't want you to go, please."

"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't go."

"I don't want you to, isn't that reason enough for you?" She put her hand on her hip and glared at me. That's not a good sign.

"Just because you are my boyfriend doesn't mean you can tell me what to do and what not to do," she told me, poking on my chest. "Besides, he is my friend and I will meet him, you can't do anything to stop me, Derek."

"Ok, fine go."

"You are ok, right?" She narrowed her eyes.

"I don't want to fight with you and if it makes you happy then go, but Taylor will take you there." I told her caressing her cheek.

"Ok and I don't want to fight with you either. I will see you after lunch." She got to turn around but I stopped her grabbing her hand, pulled her towards me and kissed her.

"You are mine always remember that." I said pulling away from her.

"Always." She smiled and left.

Taylor called me after dropping her off, then after 15 minutes I asked him to take me there.

"You know, she is not going to like this." He said, looking at me through the rear-view mirror.

"Don't you think I know that, but I don't trust him and I can't leave her alone with that fucker."

"Still I don't think what you're doing is right."

"Do you think that's going to stop me?" I glared at him and he sighed.

I went inside the restaurant and spotted them near the window. I took some calming breath and marched towards them.

"Hello, Love." I spoke, she looked up at me with surprise.

"What are you doing here?" She asked, putting her fork down on the plate.

"I came here to have lunch with my girlfriend and her friend." I smiled at her, but she threw me murdering glance. She was enraged.

"Lewis," I glared at him. He just smiled.

"Black, it's nice to meet you. Come join us." I didn't want that but did it anyway. I called a waiter and ordered dim sum for myself as they had already ordered for them.
