Chapter 8

He place me in the bed with a harsh action. I hissed in pain when my back hit in the soft pillows. I open my eyes and saw the man hovering on top of me. I raise myself a little, "Cairo?" I menstion him.

He lower his self a little that is until his face was inches away from me. I pushed him a little but he insisted coming closer to me pulling me more near him.
"Peony, the name that I want everyone to know that name, the name that belong and loved by the future phraoh himself. " he said. As he closes in I losses my strength he bent down his head to give me a kiss then it all ended a deep and passionate kiss.

He pulled back and smiled to me, "I thought you would react. Does this mean you like me? beloved". He asked.

How can I not like him, he is being gentle and even uses tricks to me but in order for me be saved in the clutches of the upper Egypt specially the crown Prince. However I felt my heart wave run every time he look and say something just like this and that kiss was the first that I have.

I cover my lips with the both of my hand while I look away. Why does I feel weak whenever I wanted my life to escape in the hands of marriage isn't that what I want that is why I run this far back in time.

"I'm sorry." In a silent air he said. I glance back at him shocked of his reaction, his sad face totally torn my heart.

" Cairo" I said. "I-I have to confess.." I don't want to say this that I travel back in time just because I had to escape the real world but maybe I can say this... " Cairo, I came here in Egypt to look for my mother." I said.

"Tell me baby, what is her name? Her age and appearance. I can work that go you." My heart skip a beat to his excited look and happy tone. "W-wait.. actually I don't have such details." I chuckle nervously, "but I have this. This was from my mother, I took off my necklace and handed it to him giving him a little look.

"This." He said with his eyes wide open and he seem to freeze in one word.

"W-where did you get this." He raise he pendant and I tilt my head a little confused. Basically I have known nothing in ancient Egypt or civilization of the early age and the pendant is something that I saw with the letter that mom wrote for me.

"I don't actually know it's origin either from my mother who owned it. In my world this would cost a furtune since it is antique." I stated.

He hand it back to me gently. "I'm sure your mother is from upper Egypt. " he said with a reassuring smile.

I put the necklace back to my neck. "I need your help Cairo... ah... I mean your highness." I lower myself and kneel to the ground.

If I have to find my mother, what better way to ask the helping hand of the crown prince In front of me.
He sat on he bed while I came from to his side and jump to he floor to kneel. His hands slowly lift me up. " You don't have to do that. I would gladly find your mother for my love sake." I shook my head and quickly said. "But! Your highness I cannot be with you as I said I'm just a passerby and I need you to help me find my mother since you caught me here. Don't you think it would replace the time and energy I have spent to come here in Egypt only to seek my mother." I said to him.

His face went Sergio and with his serious face came with a skin crawling look that might mean my death. "If you were brought here unaccording to your judgement that means your fate is here. I, Cairo the son of teth, the believe child of ra. Cannot be mistaken in his action. " his hands grip to my small arms as if I'm a object and he show dominance in front of me.
" Peony, you are here for a reason. " his hands travel to the side of my face holding them in place.

"But I don't want you to help me because I agreed to become your concubine. What if I have alterior motive your highness."

He place a deep kiss to me trying to enter inside of me but I tried my best to stop but it was not enough.
He pulled back as I huffed for air. " I don't care of your alterior motive, I have my own baby."

His eyes beam with dangerous spark as he hold me by my waist and pull me closer to him.

Cairo PoV:

I walked out of the room thinking of her taste. She is so sweet and the sent of an imported fruit, her small soft lips was so delicate that I cannot help but slowly taking my time so I can no hurt her. From the look of it, it was her first kiss.
I smile as I touch my lips reminice of her.

"Your highness". General Honto salute me with a bow and I let him raise to speak. " what ist" I asked. My smile faded as soon as I alert myself that my old friend came.

"The farmer had came to you to in from you about your festival. And the phraoh send you a message. " he said.

"Deliver it to my desk. " I said. I walked to the front to meet the farmer for the upcoming of harvest festival. This year the goddess really favor us, there were no calamity yet to occur.

" Honto." I stoped at my tracks and Honto go to the side facing me. " I have to give you a task. Find a woman who possess the eye of horus pendant. " I said.

His thick brow raise and he concisely asked,"how am I gonna find someone who posses such a treasure. The only people who posses this are the heir or the direct decedance of gods and goddess. " he said.

I crossed my arm, "Are you say in it is a impossible task? General." I raised a brow peovoking his question that may spawn to a longer thread of questions. " no. I'm not... but--" I cut him off, this is what I was telling, he will ask another question.

"no buts General. You are my first hand man, and so you will do it." He scoffed and then closed his eyes maybe trying to think how we will do it. "Fine! Then for who is it for? Why find such important person." He asked.

"It is for the woman who we found in the middle of the dessert near the boundary." I said.
