Note: quick note. I have changed the name Hantu to Annipe the sister of Cairo since the general of Cairo was also name Hanto except the spelling was not the same.
I changed it because y'all might misunderstand the character.  Okey that's all

Everyone look to my direction except Cairo. But instead slashing the body of the bug lion he dodge it and gestured the guard's the guard then jump to the lion with a gears to hold the big one down. I gasped.

" my beloved what happen. " he walked towards me as if it was nothing. My eyes was still wide open in shocked and the fast beating of my heart.

"What do you mean what happen, why would you kill the lion. " I said in a fast pace.

I can see the chuckles of Annipe peeking out of her hand that was covering her mouth. That sly woman.

"I don't think that lion deserve to die. " I said slowly saying what I have in mind. The poor lion don't want to harm anyone I can see his eyes was crying for help.

" hahahaha!! Chione, we must give thanks to the goddess of harvest and to Amon for giving us this years harvest. " she smiled explaining to me.

I look back to Cairo and was about to say something when a man yell, " IMPUDENT  woman!!" I look to where he was and he was at the left. I think he is one of the noble since he was dressed so well.

" How dare you disturb the ceremony. " Cairo look to him and he look at me a little stronger than usual.

"I'm sorry but I don't think you should kill the gift of regards from the king of Babylonians " I shook my head disagreeing tone.

" Chione, this is the right thing to do. If we don't sacrifice a small thing we can't satisfy the well of the gods. " she raise her brow with both hand to the air level to her shoulder.

I may not know what tradition they are up to but reassuring life is what they should be doing. The gift came from the king in regards, or do babylonia and Egypt have a fight.

"Dear brother please punish Lady Chione for disturbing the ceremonial sacrifice. " she look down sad and disappointed and Cairo's eyes fell down.

"Put Concubine Chione in the dungeon for two days. " I look to him. Did he say dungeon? Why? Just for a meaningless ceremony?

Annipe cleared her throat and she says, "excuse me royal brother but the law of Egypt says, breaking a tradition specially  for the god is a punishable of torture and almost death. "

My lips turn to gap and was speechless. "What."

The silence break into the area and Cairo looked to me with a determine eye but a strong face, my palm  started to sweat after thinking if I'm really going to die just for a turtore or death.

" do it. " our head turn to the side and saw a man with an eyeliner and he look like about 40's, he has a gold cane that was with his other hand and a sword in the hip hanging.

" the pharaoh." Everyone now down and also Annipe, Cairo and I followed.

"Father. " Cairo look down showing a deep respect to him.

"Cairo you should do the right thing,you 're a son of Egypt, a crown Prince to the throne. Do what you must son. "

I could not believe what I heard, obviously I cannot deny I did such it will make it worse, plus.. Cairo cannot deny duties.

"I apologize I'm make a bug mistake. " I said and stand up. Cairo's brows reach to each other when he saw me.

"Guards, send the concubine to the dungeon. Do not touch her, wait for my orders. " he pointed.

The two guards quickly sworn to me like bee and hold my upper arm I struggle.

"HEY! No need to touch me and dragging me out,  I will walk by myself. Hmp !" I shouted.
I give a last glance to Cairo and to Annipe, I can see his sister smiling at the hidden corner of her face.

As I was walked out I know that deep in me I would have to survive but if could then I'll let the gods of this ancient times guide me.
