Chapter 13

I can't believe that the pharaoh and his plotting daughter Annipe has a guts to detaine me further, now.. I don't even know if I can use some trick up in my sleeves. Everyone would be watching and that includes Cairo and the General.

The last time I survived was thanks to the wall who took me out and a secret passage to the pyramid and now I could not see anything but my end. Snakes? Really... I'm afraid of snakes and now the people is believing this myth and legends to me, if I admit my folly to them I might be excuted on the spot.

My skin crawl cold and along with it was my body getting stiff as I stand waiting for my doom.
A woman walk in with a skin show in outfit, her body was adorn with accessories like her chest, left and right arms and feet her hair was similar to a princess whom I know.

"Haha..look at you. Like a bird in a cage." The veil was lifted from her lip area and her face was revield.

"Pincess Annipe." She smiled to me with a mocking face, she was standing so prideful outside the so called cage.

"I did not realize you can be excuted like this, how awful." She giggled, "But hey! I still have mercy in me. Beg me and kneel to m; beg me that I will excite you with my own hands then I shall give you a painless death." She smiled.

Disgusting! Her face makes me vomit and all of it was because of her motives that isn't recognizable for everyone who believes she is innocent.

I gag at her words, "excuse me. But I think I'm unwell.. maybe tell that to people who is over their who killed so many innocent and ripe them and now is begging for mercy." I cock my head to the side and give off a small smile.

" you.." her range was shaking from her words. "Tsk!" She spit. "Woman like you shouldn't exist and you should be the model who I shall teach lesson to teach the future of woman who wants to attach themself to my dear brother." She grip her hand and because of her anger she pulled me and put a tight grip on my neck.

"You will remember it and beg me." She said.

"Then i will apologize in advance if I die there without any begging.. I shall beg my life to annubis and the lady of death." I smiled.

"Your cocky! Very well.. die."She laughed.

She let me go after gripping it one more time almost cutting my breath and her nails scraping th skin of it.

I will not kneel nor beg, not in the likes of you and any people.

The guard's step in the side opening the door. With their eyes I can see my death playing. I was hopeless, I know coming in ancient Egypt without any tourist guide would be difficult but at least I enjoy my days not being forced.

I put on a smile and walk out to my jail and with the soldier beside me whom I told not to hold me since I will not escape nor I will walk away. I will show that naïve princess how capable and how I will face everything that she think mere princess can only faced.

My eyes squint in the light. A sharp light hit my skin and it felt like burning, the sand underneath my feet was hot as well like the sand I step on after I managed to survive in the pyramid.
The gate was closed behind me and people was their around looking down at me.

It was overwhelming but at the side was Cairo and his father along with that sister he have.
I look around as a cage was thrown to the ground and it broke.

"S-snake..." my knees shiver and as the snake was approaching. There were a lot of them and I could only look back to Cairo with a smile and a teary eye.

" Thank you for helping me out Your highness.." i whisper to the air as if he could hear it.

I look back to the snakes that are crawling towards me, they all look like those snakes that are held up in zoos.
