Four months later

Jeongin took a deep breath in quietly as he tried to get comfortable although it was difficult at nine months pregnant. He sighed in defeat as he knew it would probably be another sleepless night. The baby was moving so much constantly kicking, which Jeongin understood since there was not enough room.

Jeongin decided to move onto his left side however the baby instantly disapproved kicking even more. "Just ten minutes baby. Let's sleep for ten minutes." Jeongin whispered tracing his hands against his bump feeling the baby's feet as they kicked.

Chan turned around half asleep "everything alright?" He asked placing his hand on top of Jeongins as they both felt the baby moving. Jeongin hummed which made Chan smile before going back to sleep knowing he had a scheduled recording to direct for tomorrow.

Jeongin yawned as he looked at the clock that read a few minutes past midnight and the baby didn't show any signs of stopping. However, it felt different than usual. Jeongin knew the baby would start moving to prepare for delivery but he didn't expect it to be that painful.

The baby (bread 🥺 my phone instantly suggest bread after I type baby) moved which caused Jeongin to take a deep breath not being able to handle the pain he gripped the blanket slowly letting the pain pass.

An hour passed and the pains would not stop which annoyed Jeongin as all he wanted to was sleep for a minute now that the baby had finally seemed to calm down.

Chan felt the move followed by restless movements with heavy breathing and instantly turned around opening his eyes halfway "baby what's wrong?" Chan asked sleepily reaching over to hold his hand.

"Nothing Channie." Jeongin said holding Chan's hand "everything is fine." Jeongin said however he held onto Chans hand as he felt the same pain once more.

Chan instantly sat up when he felt Jeongin squeezing his hand followed by heavy breathing. It made Chan realize it could be time. Looking at the clock that read 1:01 am and back at the younger he knew it was time. "Baby you're in labor! We have to get to the hospital now!" Chan said loudly which made Jeongin furrow his eyebrows disapprovingly. "No Channie. They're just fake contractions.." Jeongin trailed off as he felt the same pain.

Noticing the pain in Jeongin's face Chan knew better he turned on the lights and quickly put on a pair of shoes and coat rushing to the youngers side.

Jeongin narrowed his eyes at Chan's reaction "Chan seriously we don't have to go. The baby is just moving thats all. Can we please go back to sleep?" Jeongin said grumpy not liking the bright lights or Chans panicked movements.

Chan shook his head "No we have to go and make sure the baby and you are both okay. Remember Dr. Lim said you were at a higher risk from the severe morning sickness?" Chan said to which Jeongin sighed and agreed.
