Hm...? What...?

Felix slowly opened his eyes seeing a white ceiling, sniffing the air.

This smell...like medicine...?

He slowly tried sitting up, feeling his body feel sore and head hurt.

"Ow..."

He sat up holding his head, trying to remember how he got in a hospital as he now recognized the surroundings.

Wait...Channie...Channie?!
Where's Channie...?!

*meow*

He gave strained and sad meows, loud enough to get the attention of a nurse passing by the room he was in.

"Hey there sweetie, are you awake?" She said nicely approaching him.

"Y-yes....b-but Channie...w-where is Channie...?" He started to cry feeling scared.

"Hey, it's ok. Is that your owner?" She went to pet his head calmly as well as check his vitals.

*meow*

"Don't worry, he's ok. He's unconscious still right now" she said as she stepped back to pull a curtain back, showing Chan in a bed as well with a bandage on his forehead wrapped around his head.

*meow*

"W-what happened...? H-how did we get here...?" Felix sniffled.

"Felix right?" The nurse said as she paged the doctor to come while reading his chart.

He gave a nod as he watched the doctor rush in, seeing Dr. Kim Lip once again since they went through the emergency room.

"Hi Felix kitty, do you remember me?" She went up petting his head.

"Y-yes...you took care of me before..." he started to calm down purr seeing her again.

"That's right kitty, I have. Now, I know you have some questions. Do you know how you and Chan got here?"

Felix shook his head.

"Ok, well you two were in a car accident. It wasn't too serious luckily from where you two were hit, it was more to the front of the car it seems than directly to you thankfully"

"Oh..." Felix meowed quietly.

"So, someone saw the accident and called an ambulance. It looks like the two of you passed out and suffered concussions from the accident"

"Oh...I-is Channie hurt...? Why won't he wake up...?" Felix meowed with worry.

"Don't worry, he just hit his head on the steering wheel. We sutured him up with stitches and gave him some morphine for the pain. He should wake up soon though" she gave a small smile going over to check Chan's vitals as well.

"O-ok..."

"Now, Chan did list someone named Minho as an emergency contact? We can call him to take you home while Chan stays-"

"N-no I don't wanna leave Channie..." Felix whimpered again.

"Alright sweetie, stay calm. Everything will be ok, you can stay. In the meantime, just press that button if you need anything. Your body will feel sore for the rest of the day but that's expected" she said pointing to the blue button next to him.

"Ok...thank you..."

She petted his head before going to leave the room. As soon as she did, Felix got out of his bed going over to Chan.
