I hope he's doing ok in there...

Chan was waiting outside the room for Felix's session to finish any minute now.

*click*

Chan lifted his head to see Jinsoul peek out.

"Hi Chan, right on time! Can you come in for a moment?"

"Oh sure!"

Chan followed her back in the room, smiling when he saw Felix meow for him on the couch he was on.

*meow*

"Channie!"

"Hey kitty cat, I'm here" he sat down next to him as the boy already climbed in his lap to hug him.

"I missed you Channie" Felix purred rubbing his face against Chan's.

"I missed you too sweetheart...oh, um sorry...he tends to do this a lot" Chan blushed as he told Jinsoul who was sitting across from them.

"Aw it's perfectly ok Chan! You two are so adorable! Plenty of hybrids love affection like that! Anyways, I wanted to bring you in and tell you about my assessment on Felix" she smiled.

"Oh ok, how did it go?" Chan asked nervously as he rubbed Felix's back.

"Well surprisingly, there wasn't much to really do? From what he tells me, you're usually the one that gives him advice or says what do" she giggled.

"Oh um, well I try. I have limited knowledge in the psych field but I do know how to figure out most problems" he joked.

"Well, whatever you've been doing keep doing it! The only thing I'm concerned about is what you said Felix told you last night? About being inappropriately touched at some arcade?"

"Oh yes, that night we went out and another hybrid pretty much sexually harassed and touched him..." Chan sighed.

"Yes, he told me all of that and how he's scared of being touched right now? From speaking to him about his past, the reason why his trauma from that night is lingering is due to the fact of abuse in his past. He's mentioned that to you yes?"

"Yes...unfortunately it's something we try not to bring up...at shelters...any attacks, how he got his-"

"His scar? Yes he told me that as well...it seems since he's had so many that's been physical, this is another one of being triggered for him"

I was close to being right then

"I understand...so, is there anything to do about coping with it? He has some anxiety medication he's on but...when it comes to being intimate-"

"He's scared of being touched by you, isn't he?"

Chan gave a nod and sigh.

"Don't worry Chan, it's not you. It's his body and brain reacting, going back to the night of when he was touched. I'd hope with the anxiety meds and his regular activities he will start to feel less skittish" she said reassuringly.

"Oh ok, so am I supposed to do anything?"

"Not really, essentially just give him space when he's ready. From what I've heard from him, he's had a rough past but he's one strong kitty" she smiled.

"Ya...he definitely is" Chan smiled back petting his head.

"Well, other than that he seems pretty happy about everything else. I don't think he needs to come back unless you think so for any reason, so just give me a call if you need me!" She said standing up to go over to them.
