Chan was getting used to being alone once again, still missing Felix however. He hoped to hear from the boy as often as he could, but with Felix helping lead the design and planning for the new café he was practically swamped with work.

Each day became harder and harder for Chan because with more work Felix had, the lesser he heard from the younger except for a few messages.

It was already 3 days of him being without Felix and Chan was going crazy without him, he would try to call Felix but the boy couldn't pick up. Even most nights he told Chan he was too exhausted to talk on the phone, just wanting to sleep after working for 8-9 hours a day he wasn't used to.

Chan didn't tell him, but there were nights when the older would cry himself to sleep from missing Felix in his bed with him...

It was Finally Thursday and Felix had a bit more time to talk to Chan today, and Chan had some news to Make the younger excited.

"Channie you're coming to see me??"

"Yes I am kitten, I'll come after work tomorrow and meet you for date night. Then I can stay the weekend~" Chan smiled as they were video chatting in bed.

"Really?? Yay! Channie is coming! I'm so happy!" Felix giggled and meowed happily.

"You don't know how happy I am too sweetheart, it's only been 4 days and I'm losing my mind without you...but we'll be together soon" Chan giggled back laying on his pillow.

"Channie and me together!! Oh! Channie they have nice restaurants and shops here! I'll plan out our date night!" Felix giggled twirling his tail.

"That sounds perfect baby, my kitty and I will have a wonderful date~"

*meow*

Chan could hardly wait at work to be done so he could go see Felix, the boy was excited all day the next day as well to finally see Chan after so long.

Towards the middle of the day though, Chan got some disappointing news.

"I...what...??"

"I said that Jeongin had to call out of the conference with Joy for a family emergency, so you will have to go with her instead" Dr. Park said, the two were in his office when Chan got the news.

"But...the conference is tomorrow until Monday..." Chan said in shock.

"I know it's short notice, but we really need you Chan. No one else knows the subject more than you and Jeongin, and Joy can't go present it alone" Dr. Park sighed.

Chan understood since it was his job, reluctantly agreeing.

"I...understand...I'll go then..." he sighed.

"Thank you Chan! Chuu will help schedule everything!"

Chan just gave a nod leaving Dr. Park's office going back to his own, still trying to understand what just happened. All on his mind however was Felix, and not being able to see him now.

Kitten...

He went back to his office huffing in frustration, then his emotions turning into sadness because that means he wouldn't be able to see the boy at all for another week...practically feeling like torture without Felix.

Chan took a deep breath before video calling Felix, the younger picking up right away.

"Channie? Channie!" He meowed happily.

"Hey baby...how is my kitty...?" Chan gave a small smile.

"I'm great Channie! I can't wait to see you! I'm back at my hotel room choosing my outfit for our date night since I have a break from work! Look!" Felix giggled sitting on the bed showing Chan the floral dress he got him he was going to wear.
