With Chan's approval and Felix accepting his promotion, the hybrid was excited to be recognized for his hard work.

Within that same week was when he would depart, and Chan was having a tough time coping while trying to hide his true feelings of not wanting the younger gone for 2 weeks.

"So this suitcase will have my shampoo..." Felix mumbled to himself packing in their bedroom, shortly after the older came looking for him.

"Hey sweetheart..." Chan said softly sitting on the bed.

"Hi Channie!" Felix meowed.

"I see you're almost done packing..." Chan said with a small smile.

"Oh, yes Channie! I packed everything now!" He meowed giggling getting on the bed as well.

"So cute...when do you leave in the morning kitten...?" Chan asked reaching to pet his head.

"Morning...? Oh! 10 am...so Channie will see me before he goes to work" Felix began to purr.

"I'm glad princess..." Chan looked into his eyes cupping his cheek, but then was quiet as his smile faded.

"Channie...what's wrong...?" Felix meowed tilting his head.

The older pulled him into his lap slipping his arms around his waist.

*meow*

"You know I love you so much kitten..." he said quietly.

"I love Channie more!" Felix smiled looking into his eyes, the older starting to smile again as he cupped his cheek. Leaning closer to give a passionate and long kiss.

"Channie?" The younger purred seeing Chan looking into his eyes.

"Kitty cat...Channie loves you so much..."

*meow*

"I know your work makes you happy...but I will miss you so much sweetheart..." Chan said as his voice cracked, his eyes beginning to tear up.

"Channie..." Felix gave a sad meow seeing the older start to cry.

"You're my other half...who I will miss every minute..." Chan said as tears rolled down his cheeks.

"Channie...Don't cry..." Felix began to tear up himself thinking how he would miss Chan for weeks.

"It's hard not to kitten, you're my soulmate...2 weeks is the longest we'll ever be apart..." Chan said looking away.

*meow*

"Channie...I love you Channie...I'll miss Channie too..." Felix sniffled wrapping his arms around his neck.

Chan held on to him hugging him back, both of them shedding tears they were holding back.

"You're my one and only kitty..." Chan said petting his head as the younger cried into his neck.

"Channie is my one and only..." Felix leaned back wiping his tears away.

"Now, I'll try my best to visit you on the weekends...but I expect my kitty to call and text me plenty" Chan tried smiling a bit as the younger reached his small hands to wipe Chan's tears away.

"Y-yes Channie...When Channie visits we can have date night..." Felix purred a little.

"That's absolutely right, so I can spoil my cute kitty~" Chan kissed his cheeks.

*meow*

"And any problems or if you're hurt, you call me and I'll be there ASAP"

"Yes Channie...I'll be good!"
