The next morning Felix and Chan woke up early so the older could take him to the train station for his work trip, the entire morning Chan was trying his hardest of not sulking to not make Felix sad.

"Kitten, are you almost ready to go...?" Chan asked with a sad sigh going to their bedroom.

"Yes Channie!" Felix meowed pulling his suitcase out his closet.

"There's my kitty, you have everything sweetheart?" Chan smiled petting his head.

*meow*

"Yes Channie...um...one more thing..." Felix meowed shyly before going back into his closet, he padded back out with his cat plushie.

"Oh you forgot to pack your plushies princess?" Chan joked a bit.

"N-no...I packed Pashmina...but..." Felix mumbled holding out the cat plushie in front of Chan.

"...Pashmina is my wolf plushie...that reminds me of Channie when I miss him..."

"Kitten..."

"S-so...Marmalade is my kitty plushie...that will stay with Channie...and will remind him of me...when Channie misses me..." he meowed with big eyes.

Hearing that almost had Chan tearing up again, the younger making him incredibly soft.

Oh god my heart...

"Thank you kitten...I'll keep Marmalade safe with me  each night..." Chan smiled taking the plushie and pulling Felix into a hug.

*meow*

"Alright...let's get going before you're late..." Chan said quietly holding him close.

Chan tried being cheerful the drive to the station, but as soon as they were on the platform saying their goodbyes that's when the both of them broke down in tears.

"I love you so much kitten...remember that..." Chan said holding Felix close to his chest as tears rolled down his cheeks.

"Channie...I don't want to leave you Channie..." Felix sobbed into his chest.

They kept telling each other how the other loved him more, how they would be missing everything about being together.

"Make sure you're a good kitty...and call me for anything..." Chan cupped his cheeks looking into his eyes.

"Y-yes Channie...but I don't want Channie to leave me...I'll stay with Channie...I won't go..." Felix cried even more.

"Kitty Princess, you don't mean that...you love your job and you're going to have fun...I can't make you stay no matter how much it hurts...you're gonna be ok...you always are" Chan gave a small smile kissing him.

*meow*

"I-I'll call Channie everyday...and tell Channie I love him the most..." Felix sniffled.

"And I'll call my kitty as well and tell him I love him more" Chan said softly looking into his eyes.

He gave the younger a few more soft kisses before they heard the announcement of the train arriving.

Boarding begins now, departure is in 5 minutes

They both turned their heads to see the train arrive, Felix becoming sadder looking back at Chan.

"Channie..." he sobbed.

"You'll be ok kitten, my kitty is the bravest and smartest kitty in the world" Chan wiped his tears away trying to calm the boy.

"Y-yes Channie..." Felix meowed.
