Katara's POV:
As I crept out of bed to take the waterbending scroll that I stole from the pirates, while Sokka and Aang were asleep, I clearly don't realize how selfish and careless that idea was. It's not like me. Usually I'm the one who stops the careless and selfish mistakes. That thought didn't even cross my mind while I was slowly creeping towards the lake to learn more forms. It was such an awful idea.Zuko's POV:
When I heard the pirates had some water tribe girl and a bald nomad with an arrow on his head steal from them; I knew where'd they be. I could just smell my fathers love in the air. They are so stupid.

As Katara is focussing on her waterbending she doesn't even realize Prince Zuko and the pirates she stole from were on their trail. It was only a matter of time until Prince Zuko got Katara in his clutches. A pirate sneak attacks Katara, she water whips him in the face, as she tries to make a run for it Prince Zuko grabs her.
"I'll save you from the pirates" Zuko said with confidence
Katara has nothing but a shocked look on her face when she realizes it's Zuko right in front of her. She knew it was only a matter of time until Aang and Sokka were captured too. The only thing she could do was hope that they'd fight them off. Sadly, she was mistaken.
As Katara's tied up to a tree Zuko comes up behind her hiding her mother's necklace within his hands.
"You see I need to capture the avatar to restore something I've lost. My honor. Perhaps, I could restore something you've lost" Zuko says as he places her mother's necklace around her neck
Katara gasps in fear and anger while Zuko has an evil grin on his face. Zuko walks away while he thinks about the feeling of him and Katara's clothes rubbing together as he placed her mother's necklace right around her neck. He was just wondering if beyond all that anger if Katara couldn't stop imagining the feeling of Zukos breath hitting the side of her neck.
