After their pirate fiasco they were still on their way to the Northern water tribe. Katara was so angry at herself because she couldn't stop thinking about the way Zuko touched her, the way he whispered to her while breathing on her neck, the way he looked at her. She hated him and she has every right to, but she hated herself way more for thinking of Zuko in any other way besides hate.

On the fire navy ship, Zuko just laid in his bed all day thinking of what Katara's mind is set on right now. If it was about him, or the way he looked at her. He was always excited to find out the destination of the avatar, but now he had another reason to be happy.

Katara's POV:

I can't believe how awful my mind is!! Zuko is an awful person, with awful intentions. I just don't know why I keep thinking of him that way, he is the enemy. Not anything else.

Zuko's POV:

It's Mai... It's supposed to be Mai. She's the one. Katara though... she's probably not even thinking of it the same way I am! It doesn't even matter! Im overreacting! Ugh!

They couldn't stop thinking about each other. Hoping it was just nothing... maybe it was. Secretly Zuko didn't want it to be nothing and neither did Katara.

Weeks later....

Katara had finally gotten her mind off of Zuko when they had finally arrived at the Northern water tribe. All she could think about was the idea of her and Aang finally mastering waterbending. That was until they had realized the fire nation had located Aang. All hell broke loose right then and there.

The water tribe warriors fought off most of the ships. It was up to Aang to end it all so his only option was taking a spirit world journey. As Aang entered the spirit world while Yue and Katara watched him carefully in the spirit oasis, the malt spiritual place in the Northern water tribe. Zuko had caught them.

"Well aren't you a big girl now?" Zuko said with an evil smirk.

"No!" Katara said scared

They battled it out, back and forth. Zuko had realized she found a master, as angry as he was that she was beating him, he respected her improvement. The sun finally rose, it was no longer twilight. Zuko finally had defeated Katara and stole Aang.

"You rise with the moon, I rise with the sun." Zuko said as he held up Aang  by his clothes.

Katara felt defeated. Like a failure. She had failed to take care of Aang while he was most vulnerable, but that won't be the last.
