"ANNABETH!" PERCY YELLED. He was struggling to his feet as a couple of the hunter girls held him down. "YOU HAVE YOU TO LET US SAVE HER!!"

The auburn haired girl looked up at Percy with a troubled expression, "I'm sorry Percy Jackson but your friend is beyond help". She watched as he continued to struggle, "And you are in no condition to be hurling yourself off cliffs".

Percy glared at the auburn haired girl. "Let me go!", he demanded. "WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?"

At this the hunters who were holding onto Percy let go of him abruptly and they all started glaring at him. Zoe looked like she was about to slap him.

Luckily Zola  pulled him back next to her just in time, rolling her eyes and muttering loud enough just for him to hear her.

"Oh my Gods, Percy Jackson are you trying to get yourself killed", she mumbled to him.

Percy looked back at Zola in confusion and mouthed, "What?"

The auburn haired girl stepped forwards, looking around at the group. "No, I sense no disrespect", she addressed to her hunters. "He is clearly just confused". She then walked directly up to Percy looking at him straight in the eye, "I am Artemis..Goddess of the Hunt".

Disbelief flashed before Percy's eyes. "Um..okay."

Zola felt her eyes roll again as she heard Percy's very intelligent answer to finding out he just met the Goddess of the Hunt, Artemis.

Groves reaction on the other hand was kneeling down on his knees in the snow yammering "Thank you, Lady Artemis! You're so...You're so..Wow!"

Zola chuckled to herself until Thalia finally stopped Grover from embarrassing himself.

"Get up Goat boy!", she snapped. "We have other things to worry about".

"Yes we do", Zola added, "Annabeth is gone and we NEED to find her".

Percy was about to say something before he was interrupted by Bianca. "Whoa..Whoa. Time OUT!"

Everyone finally noticed she was there and turned towards her.

"Who..who are you people?"

Zola watched as Artemis's expression softened.

"It might be a better question, my dear girl, to ask who are you..Who are your parents?"

Bianca glanced around nervously at her brother, who was still staring in awe at Artemis. Zola thought that it was cute that he was so excited.

"Our parents are dead," Bianca said. "We're orphans. There's a bank trust that pays for our school, but..."

She faltered. Zola could guess that from the rest of their faces she knew they didn't believe her.

"What?, I'm telling the truth!", she protested.

Zola felt sorry for her, she understood how she felt in this situation and the more she learnt sadly it was going to get worse.

"You are a half-blood" Zoe Nightshade said as her old fashioned accent shone through her words. "One of thy parents was mortal. The other was an Olympian."

"An Olympian... athlete?"

Zola snorted way too loudly. The others turned to look at her.

"Sorry", she said quickly.

Percy looked at her in disbelief as Zoë glared at her before turning back to Bianca. She didn't mind, she never liked the hunters anyway.

"No.",Zoe continued. "One of the gods."

"Cool!", Nico exclaimed looking like he was about to burst of excitement.

"No!" Bianca's voice quavered. "This is not cool!"

Nico danced around like he needed to use the restroom. "Does Zeus really have lightning bolts that do six hundred damage? Does he get extra movement points for-"

"Nico, shut up!" Bianca put her hands to her face. "This is not your stupid Mythomagic game, okay? There are no gods!"

Zola felt horrible, as she understood how difficult of a situation the siblings were in.

Thalia must've been feeling something similar, because the anger in her eyes subsided a little bit. "Bianca, I know it's hard to believe. But the gods are still around. Trust me. They're immortal. And whenever they have kids with regular humans, kids like us, well..our lives are dangerous."

"Dangerous," Bianca said, "like the girl who fell."

Zola's face turned cloudy, she felt responsible.

"Do not despair for Annabeth," the goddess said. "She was a brave maiden. If she can be found, I shall find her."

"Then why won't you let us go look for her?" Percy asked. Zola who wanted to hate Percy so much right now, felt bad for him. His best friend just went missing and he couldn't even go look for her.

"She is gone. Can't you sense it, Son of Poseidon? Some magic is at work. I do not know exactly how or why, but your friend has vanished."

Percy looked like he still wanted to jump off the cliff and search for her.

"Oo!" Nico raised his hand as if he was in a class at school. "What about Dr. Thorn? That was awesome how you shot him with arrows! Is he dead?"

"He was a manticore," Artemis said. "Hopefully he is destroyed for now, but monsters never truly die. They re-form over and over again, and they must be hunted whenever they re-appear."

Zola personally prayed to her father that this particular monster would not form for a while because even though she loved fighting and it was one of her favourite things to do. She didn't think she could stand fighting someone like Dr. Thorn again.
