"ZOË SLOW DOWN YOUR DRIVING LIKE A MANIAC AND DRAWING ATTENTION TO US", Zola yelled in the backseat as they sped down the road, way over the speed limit. They had been driving for hours.

Zoë stopped the car at a red light only to turn around and roll her eyes at Zola.

"Hey, hey roll your eyes back any further and you might just find a brain".

Thalia, who was sitting at the front of the van besides Zoë started chuckling meanwhile Zoë turned her attention back to the road.

"You know, we did not need thy help. If the God had not insisted on your presence, thou could have been playing dress up like the little girl thou are".

"Wait a damn minute, what exactly are you implying because if you said what I think you said then not even Thalia could hold me back from-"

"Did I lie?"

"Wait till I-"

SWERVE.

Zoë had just turned straight into a parking lot.

"Rest stop", Zoë said as she stepped out of the car and leaned against the door.

Everyone else also got out too.

"Where even are we?", Zola snapped.

"Maryland", Zoe replied curtly.

"I think I'm gonna get something from the convenience store, i've got some bucks anyone else want anything?" Zola asked as she filtered through her backpack for her wallet.

"Grover, are you sure?", Thalia asked as they all stepped out of the store, hot chocolates in hand.

"Well...pretty sure. Ninety-nine percent. Okay, eighty-five percent".

"And you did this with acorns?", Bianca asked, as if she couldn't believe it.

"I trust Grover's judgement, even if he is eighty-five percent sure...hey isn't the acorn thing a time-honoured tracking spell?", Zola added.

Grover gave Zola a small grin. "Yup it's a time-honoured tracking spell. I'm pretty sure I did it right."

"D.C. is about sixty miles from here,"

"How do you know?", Zola asked.

"Nico and I...", she frowned. "We used to live there. That's... that's strange. I'd forgotten."

"I dislike this", Zoë said. "We should go straight west. The prophecy said west."

"Well I don't care what you dislike Zoë. I am following Grover who is a trustworthy tracker with a time-honoured tracking spell", Zola snapped.
