"WAIT WAIT WAIT LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT, so you bathed in the River Styx?"
"Uhh..Z this is like the fifth time you've asked m-".
"So youbathed in the River Styx?"
"Um..yes?"
"When did this happen?"
"Well-", Percy started.
"Actually don't answer that because I know exactly when it happened".
"How?", Percy asked confused.
"I had a dream about it. Oh yeah that reminds me, since when do you choke Nico and put a sword to his neck or is that just some weird kinky shit going on?"
Percy spluttered. "Wait what?". Then he paused for a moment before realisation flashed across his face. "Oh..right that. Nico suggested the idea of..bathing in the Styx and I..agreed with it, so he took me to the river which is found in the Underworld by the way-".
Annabeth scoffed as if saying, 'of course I know that dumbass'.
"and before I could bathe in it. I was taken to Hades who had promised Nico information on his mother but then Hades kinda found a loophole in their promise and then basically locked me up. The 'kinky part'-".
Zola snorted. Percy glared at her before she motioned for him to continue.
"That you saw in your dream was Nico helping me escape and me not believing him".
"Ahh right", Zola said as both she and Annabeth nodded in understanding.
"That was dangerous though Percy like really really dangerous", Annabeth said.
"Yeah, no shit", Percy said sarcastically. "It's not like Z over here, wasn't screeching my head off about it for the past-".
"Screeching?", Zola said dramatically putting her hands over her heart. "I prefer the term being 'concerned for your wellbeing'".
"Well, you definetely didn't seem concerned about my ear's wellbeing a few-".
"So, my mom mentioned Plan Twenty-Three", Annabeth interrupted. She started to rummage in her pack and then pulled out Daedalus's laptop. The blue Delta symbol glowed on the top when she booted it up. She opened a few files and started to read.
"Here it is", she said. "Gods, we have a lot of work to do".
"One of Daedalus's inventions?", Percy asked.
"A lot of inventions...dangerous ones. If my mother wants me to use this plan, she must think things are very bad". She then looked towards Percy. "What about her message to you: 'Remember the rivers'? What does that mean?"
Percy shook his head. "I have no clue".
Just then the Stoll brothers ran into the throne room. "Guys, you need to see this", Connor said. "Now".
