Hello so this is back when Kaminari goes to give Shinsou the cat he painted and the first little side story of this book. They'll be at the end, separate to the story!!!
It's kind of like what goes on in this version of bnha I've created with (y/n)!! Hope you like it.
Enjoy~
Kaminari's POV
I had left (y/n) to give her gift to Aizawa, while I stood idly in front of Shinsou's door. I rocked back and forth between my feet, holding the ceramic cat as if it were a real one. I was one nervous thought away from petting the damn thing.
What would I even say? 'Here's my cat?' No that was silly and kind of suggesting if I thought about it too long. Maybe (y/n) was right, it did seem a little sad. I couldn't help but feel a little pathetic. I hadn't taken the hint when Shinsou had initially rejected me. Now I was bringing him ceramic cats.
My hand knocked anyways, causing me to listen to the soft shuffle on the other side of the door. Shinsou opened the door, pencil still in hand. My stomach shrank, quickly hiding the thing behind my back. I immediately noticed as Shinsou took a pair of glasses off his face, folding them to hold in his hands.
"Kaminari? What are you doing here?" He asked.
"Hah!" I called, too nervous to speak. I felt like such an idiot.
"What? Are you laughing at me?" Shinsou asked, crossing his arms over his chest.
"No, no!" I scrambled. What about Shinsou made me so nervous? Shinsou raised an eyebrow at me. "I just went out with (y/n)."
"Okay?" He said, clearly confused.
"Well, we went to this place where you could paint ceramic statues," I said, tugging at the back of my neck. "I made this!" I held it out so he could see it. He glanced down at my hands and I was reminded just how tall he was. Oh boy.
"A cat?"
"Yeah! I just figured that you might like this since you can't have an actual cat in the dorms," I said. I remember him mentioning how much he liked cat cafes and how he had one at home. Now that he was in a dorm he couldn't have a pet.
"It's for me?" He asked.
"Uh, if you want it," I said, holding it out to him. He took it from my hands, holding it in his palm. "It's really ugly, I'm not the best artist."
"Nah, I like it," he said. He wore a slight smirk, which I could tell he thought I couldn't see. I gave him a thin lipped smile. "It's kind of dorky."
"Well sure," I said, letting out a breathy laugh.
"How come you wanted to make this for me?" He asked.
"Oh you know, just saw it and thought of you," I said. God that sounded so desperate.
"On your date with (y/n)?" He asked.
"Hah? Oh no we weren't going on a date. Though she might be so lucky," I said, smirking to myself. If (y/n) knew I had said that she might hit me upside the head.
"You want to come in?" He asked. "I was just doing my homework."
"Sure! I'd offer to help, but unless it's English I shouldn't," I said. He just shook his head, stepping back into his room. "So you wear glasses?"
"Only when I really need them," he said. I held out a hand and he rolled his eyes. He placed the glasses in my hand and I slipped them on my face.
"Jeez, you're blind," I said.
"Not really, but thanks," he said.
"How do I look?"
"A geek," he said, simply. He leaned down to my level and I felt my face flush. I pout and he tugged them off my face, slipping them onto his own face. I swear I saw him actually smile. He looked to his desk and sat down, placing the cat statue on his desk shelf. I smiled myself, seating myself on his bed. At least he still wanted to be my friend.
"So what are you doing homework for?"
