Kirishima's POV

"I'm so glad you wanted to come out with me," I said, grinning at Jenny. She nodded, walking along side me. We had already walked around for a fair amount of time, having stopped for food already.

"Yeah, well," she said, shrugging. "How could I say no?"

"Anywhere you want to go next?" I asked and Jenny paused, genuinely pondering it.

"Oh! There's this great fountain a ways...that way!" she said, pointing towards the right.

"Sure, we can go to the fountain," I said. She started that way, being the one who knew where we were going. I glanced down towards where our hands were gently swaying as we walked. I brushed the back of my hand against her, nearly holding my breath for this to seem casual. She glanced at me and I looked forwards. She slipped her hand in mine, locking our fingers.

Though I hadn't outright said this was a date, I was fairly certain that it was. I really hoped it was.

"See!" she pointed out. It was a giant fountain, not exactly what I was expecting. She tugged at my arm slightly and I went in her direction. I watched as lavender stars fluttered from her hair to the ground behind her, leaving a sparse trail. I caught one, tucking it in my pocket.

"Wow, this is pretty," I commented and she nodded back at me. I admired her for a moment, walking ahead of me with a tight grip on my hand. She didn't seem to care all that much when people looked her direction, confused as to why she was littering stars everywhere. She had even dressed up a little, or at least I appreciated at effort in her outfit. I didn't know why I deserved her effort, but I was glad she was willing. She hopped up on the edge of the fountain, stilling holding my hand.

She looked pretty in pink.

She trailed the circumference of the fountain, still holding my hand for balance. She admired the architecture of the fountain as she walked, glancing back down at me. She stumbled slightly and I tugged her off the edge, back towards me. I wrapped an arm around her waist, sort of catching her.

"Thank you," she replied, laughing ever so slightly. I smiled at her and she peered up at me, half-embarrassed.

"You're welcome."

"Oh and thanks again for taking me out. I've...been waiting for you to ask me out," she said, placing hands on my chest. I paused, staring at her. She just looked up at me with rosy cheeks and a rustling of paper coming from her stomach. She stood expectantly looking at me.

Oh crap, I was supposed to kiss her now.

I leaned down, catching her lips briefly. She grasped my shirt, face in a visible smile when I pulled back. She placed her hands on my face, kissing me again not as short or awkward as I had been. She pulled back, the tight rumbling feeling in my stomach now. She placed her cheek against my chest, sighing with content. I glanced at the top of her head, spotting pink hearts.

"Okay! Let's go play video games or watch something," she said, pulling me away from the fountain.

"You want to keep hanging out with me?"

"Uhm, duh?" she said as if it were obvious. She started talking warmly about a new class project and I followed, holding her hand again.
