Nephertiti's POV

Whoever said life was like a big merry-go-round was absolutely fucking right. Xander's chemotherapy was thankfully done three ago but what I didn't know was he had to do a transplant to finalize everything. Something called a bone marrow transplant.

Basically, it replaces bad cells with healthy cells cancelling out all cancer cells. Completely. I couldn't wait for it to happen but I didn't want to get too hopeful. It was a dangerous process.

But it was thankfully successful. I was so fucking happy that day and I cried so much. It was finally over. My baby was okay.

Xander's body was finally filling out again, he was getting stronger and his hair was finally growing back. And my hair was growing back too. I was glad because I for one, am not trying to look like Damiens' balls.

It was finally Christmas and I was so happy

It was finally Christmas and I was so happy. Who wouldn't be happy? Christmas just had this different feeling and you can't help but feel unexplainably happy. We were all in the living room drinking hot chocolate, with Xander and me in the loveseat.

"When is Santa coming, Alex? I can't wait to open my presents, I know that I'm on the nice list this year," Adriya inquired, excitement shining in her eyes with her hands clasped before her.

Xander chuckled softly. "How do you that you're on the nice list?"

With the most innocent look ever she answered. "Well, I didn't push anyone off the slide this year." Push anyone off the slides? This little girl is something else.

"Santa will come when you're asleep honey, now let's go to bed," Helen said to her.

Whining, she answered, "But I don't wanna."

"Yes, you do, now go on up." Stifling a yawn, she trudged up the stairs with Helen and Mr Carson behind her, after they bid their goodbyes.

"So what are we going to do now?" Ava questioned. Damien opened his mouth, probably to say something stupid, but was cut off by a big yawn from me. "What? I'm tired."

"You guys do whatever, we are going to get some sleep," Xander said, rising up off the loveseat. Holding on to his hand, I pulled myself up. "Yeah, tomorrow."

Approximately fifteen minutes later, Xander and I were cuddling in bed. With my head on his chest and his finger drawing circles on my hip, he looked down at me. "Neph, thank you."

"For what?"

"For sticking by me through everything, for loving me, it means a lot." Looking up, I kissed him softly. "I love you, I always will."

But as I fell asleep, I had doubts. Would he still want to be with me after I told the news him tomorrow?
