“I pushed everyone else away Because they weren't you”
Myung-Ho's POV
"Hey watch out!!"
My friend Sara’s familiar screech made me realise I was going to knock on someone. Spacing out from my thoughts I tried to move to the side, and a wise grip on my hand was stopping my attempt.
A blond-haired boy who was taller than me was stopping me. In a minute I know I'm going to have an awkward state in the middle of the canteen. This is the reason I choose to come late at lunch time.
“Who are you?” I slap his hands away from me.
I take a few steps back to be safe from any sudden action. His gaze immediately changed from me and his face had that slight fear as he turned around and walked away. The boy left me alone as if nothing happened.
That's strange. “What was that?”
"Are you going to stay there all day?" Sara asked.
I turn to face her. I shake my head slightly.
"Let's go eat."
I follow her to the far edge of the table. Apart from Gguk she is the only one I am close to.
"Who's that boy?" She asked, voice annoyed from hunger.
"I don't know."
"Is your boyfriend now your bodyguard or what? Tell him to stop scaring people like that."
"Huh, who?"
Sara was directing where Gguk was by the door. As I looked at him our gaze connected, causing me to turn around my head at the same time. “oops!.”
“Why are you acting weird? You are doing that so much lately.”
“Like what?”
“Like you are hiding your boyfriend from me,” she replied to me with an arrogant look of knowledge and wisdom.
I filled my mouth with a spoon of rice prolonging the silence. Her expression suddenly that of a defeated puppy. Few minutes must have passed, there was some shuffling sound by my side and I looked up to meet Gguk.
I stare right into his eyes. What should I do? As a good friend She left the table leaving me with him like she got some secret message .
I can feel the gaze of Gguk.
"Uh...did you eat your food?"
That's so not cool.
"Yes I did." Again silence.
"You look stunning."
Few of my coughs surprised him in return. Why did he have to tease me like this?
