"Nightmares are dreams too."

"Myung!,"
"Wake up!,"
"Hey!."
Being shaken forcefully I opened my eyes. Jeongguk was looking down at my face worriedly.
"Don't worry," I said so that he will be less worried.
"Myung, are you sure you're okay? It's not normal to toss and turn like this every night."
"Yeah..." I sat up in bed."
"Did you have a bad dream again?"
"yeah but..." I wasn't really sure how to answer. I fell back down next to him.
"Tell me about it"
"I saw it straight through."
"Huh?"
"I mean I had a dream about the rain and then last night's about the fire straight through."
"Connected? Like a continuation of rain and fire?"
"Yes, connected."
"What the hell?!"
"That's why I wasn't sure what to say. I was able to remember the inside of the room a lot better though. And I realised that the rain I had seen was from inside that room looking out."
"The one with the luxurious furniture?"
"Yeah. The curtains were open even though it was night and I was laying on the bed looking out the window."
"And when you looked around you the room was on fire."
"That's right." It was hard to feel that sadness two nights in a row.
"Myung, did you figure it out? What were you waiting for?"
"I did."
"What?" Jeongguk asked excitedly.
"A person," I answered. "No matter how much I looked around, my gaze always came back to the window by the bed. I was waiting for somebody to appear there."
"I thought so." He answered as if he already figured it out what was I'm going to say.
"What do you mean you thought so?"
I was still caught up in the melancholy from my dream. That sadness wasn't somebody else's.
"Let's stop talking and go to sleep."
"I'm afraid to sleep."
It would be unbearable if I saw that same dream in reverse or something.
"I'm here beside you and I won't sleep until you fall asleep" On that agreement I close my eyes.

"Did you sleep well?" Jeongguk asks, focusing on his food. We were having our breakfast.
"Yeah I did, thanks to you."
"why won't we find out who is that in your dream?"
"Is that necessary?" I wasn't interested in any further investigation, because I might end up witnessing things.
"See, Myung, don't they tell when we see the same dream again and again it means the person in the dream is trying to communicate with us. Why don't we check it out if it's real or not?"
"Why are you suddenly taking interest in this? It's not like you believe in this kind of stories."
"I'm interested because you are involved in this, it's not anyone else but one and only precious love of me, I should do anything about it at least."
"No I don't want to."
"Why not! Are you going to dream every night onwards?"
"Maybe, it's not a scary one."
"But I don't think you can handle it, let's find out you just have to trust me."
It's not that I don't believe it's that I might put Jeongguk in danger. "It's dangerous."
"I said a ghost can't do anything, they are not humans. You did witnessed what happened there."
"Yeah. but-"
"I think if you can ignore your dreams, that incident will repeat again."
