“We all have stories
we will never tell”

Myung-He's pov

"Lisa Manobal’s Fiancé?"

"What was his name... He was the son of a big financier from Korea. I can't remember how old he was. Anyway on the surface it was a good match but really they were just after Kim's fortune."

I intake a sharp breath. It must be him, 'Jeon Jungkook'.

“Even if they were a wealthy family they wanted the power of the Kim name. Nobody around them thought it was a good idea but Manobal fell for the young man. He was a nice young man, gentle and well-mannered but a little indecisive or flaky.”

"Manobal's fiance must have been close to Kim's son who died as well." Gguk led on smartly.

"Not at all!," Mr. Jung Hoseok waved his hand wildly in front of his face.

That's strange.

"Young master Taehyung hated him.”

When I heard the name I felt butterflies in my stomach.

“Then who does he love? Does he have a lover?”

“I have seen him alone, it's just that because of how famous he is, people tend to use him for their own benefit. Young master always avoided people and never let anyone get close.”

“That must feel lonely.” I mumbled subconsciously.

“Oh, wait but I have occasionally seen Young master Taehyung with a lady.”

“Who's that lady?”

“I had seen her with Manobal's fiance. Looked like they were siblings. I remember it because it's rare for young master to act friendly to a women”

“Could you tell me more about this young master?”

“Young master Kim Taehyung, you see He was a smart, stylish young man. He had an unique disposition and even we all men around thought he was pretty. He didn't seem to approve of his sister's spineless fiancé at all."

Joengguk's and my eyes met unconsciously. Did we make any mistakes while we calculated?

"Poor Mr. Kim, he was doubly unfortunate losing his son and son in law in a single night."

"I see," Gguk folded his arms, nodding. "Mr. Hoseok Was the young master really that pretty?”

Jung Hoseok looked proud in response to Gguk's reversed eyes. "You won't ever see a man as stunning as the young master,"The old man directed his gaze to me.

I cocked my head. Is he implying I'm not even close to that beauty of Taehyung? Isn't that a reason Joengguk has fallen for me on the first day of my Bangtan?

Gguk threw a look knowingly what I'm thinking right now. He is always best to get pissed off if I'm going to show interest to anyone other than him.

"I've never had the chance,I've never seen a picture so I have no idea.” Gguk pouted and I had to hold back a scoff.

You Wait until we get back, Jeongguk.

"Ah he hated having pictures taken. Thought that the camera stole a bit of your soul or something instead there were painted portraits of him inside."

"Is it still there?" Gguk cut in.

"No idea There might be one though." He keeps smiling in my direction though I'm half hiding behind Gguk. Old men sometimes creep me out for no reason and I can't justify any explanation.

"I would like to see it."

"The door is open so why don't you go look for it?" Still he talked like he was replying to my curiosity, not Gguk's.

"Can we go in?" Gguk couldn't hide his surprise and I couldn't hide my surging fear under my skin.

"There's nothing worth anything left anyway" Jung Hoseok laughed. "This building only holds bad stories. If it could bring anything good for you, I'm not stopping it."

"Give me a shout when you leave." He turned and went back to surveying. I move away from Gguk as the old man has gone and my courage comes back.

"Myung," Gguk spun to face me.

"What...what?"

His eyes shine and he smiles broadly showing his pretty teeths. Oh, looks like somebody is excited to see a man.

I had a bad feeling about this.

"Lucky chance."

"Why?"

"Let's go look at that room."

Gguk pointed at Taehyung's room.

Oh no.
