“And suddenly I met this
Stranger”

Myung-Ho's POV

"How are we going to get back?" I asked. A short nap turned into hours long sleep. I tend to forget time whenever I'm with Jeongguk.

The thunder made my eyes shut for a second.

"Well, we'll just go and get wet," he said care-freely.

The rain was pouring with no intention of stopping. The dark grey cloud hung densely. The surroundings were engulfed in an unfathomable gloominess.

"We can make it back to the dorm in about ten minutes if we run fast enough." He said energetically as if he already seemed ready to dash.

"I don't really want to get wet, though. Gguk, what time is it?" I asked.

"Hm?" he looked at his watch, “Let's see... It's a little after seven,” He stared out into the darkness.

"It's already so late. If we try to wait it out, the dorm gate will close."

"You're right. Dorm gate will close at eight," He nodded, sitting up and bringing me with him.

"Hmm."  I felt a little uneasy. I don't know why, perhaps it is raining.

Jeongguk had invited me out to go on a walk but ended up sleeping all evening in this old lab room.

Carefully I opened the door of the room. When I looked out the storm lashed upon my face with water. It was Falling hard and heavy.  My eyes searched The other parts of the academy. I felt as if every closed door and window were suddenly looking towards my way.

The unsettling feeling on my guts grew and I looked back to Joengguk’s handsome face to comfort myself.

"Wow. It's really a storm." I mumbled.

"Do you have everything?" He asked.

"Yes,.Gguk"

There was no way to forget things because I didn't bring anything in the first place. I remember he was dragging me all the way from the canteen to here like a parent dragging his child to his first ever class.

Jeongguk scooped up the long summer jacket that we had been using as a blanket and gave it a good shake to dislodge the dust.

"Thanks for letting us borrow you," He directed at the ceiling and swept a bow.

When did he start to talk with walls too? I looked at him amusingly. My eyes passed over the test tubes and glasses. Some broken funnels are still on the stands. The dim chemical smell mixed on the dust of the room. Everything said it was a chemistry lab or some sort of it.

"Okay, let's go babe."

At the same time he said that he was already running past me out into the rain. No where he was looking back.

"Eh!?" I blinked “What?!”

"If you don't hurry, I'll leave you behind."

"Wait, Gguk!."

I jumped out into the rain and hurried after him, but Jeongguk was much faster than me. Of course my stamina was not comparable to his.

The road was lined with trees on either side, and made of slippery mud. It was impossible to keep up with him in this downpour.

In a blink of an eye I had lost him ,That man! You fool!.

"If you're my lover don't leave me behind!." I grumbled, feeling sad and disappointed.

Even if the dorm was only a few minutes run from here, there was no guarantee that I wouldn't get lost. Because I am visiting this part of our school for the first time.

In the shade of the overhanging trees I ran on through the darkness. I realised looking at cherry trees is only beautiful when it's a sunny day. In the rain they looked ugly and creepy with their strange branches.

I ran regardless of the fact that I had no idea where I was until suddenly, I came out into the open. I sure I was running believing in my guts.

"Oh, good. The main road."

The road was narrow and unlighted, but it was a nice two-lane asphalt road that ran alongside the building.

I still couldn't open my eyes properly against the rain lashing my face but I was relieved. The trees were in the way of seeing it but the road curved gently to the left and led to the main building.

Dammit. That idiot!. Jeongguk I will see you for this. I wish I wasn't alone in this rain.

I had thought he'd be waiting for me here.  As I stood there feeling disappointed a heavy weight fell to me from behind.

"Excuse me?" And another voice following it.

“Oh my god!,” I turned around quickly.

There is someone in front of me.

I froze in shock and pressed a hand to my heart. I hadn't seen anyone around so where had he come from?

A tall attractive young man. He stood there in his short-sleeved shirt soaked to the bone because he had no umbrella.

He was much wetter than I was. Unfortunately. Shivering to the core he blinked his beautiful eye lashes.

"Sorry my bad,”

Who is this man? Oh and why is he so beautiful, although he is a mess? My eyes have never seen a human this beautiful, even Jeongguk didn't hold this much alluringness.

Is that the same action like those days when someone pulled the same trick and tried to assault me? His thin voice seemed like it would disappear into the darkness. He looked frightened and his voice was cracking.

"Ah, it's okay?" I was troubled.

"I don't think it's a better idea to walk around in the rain" he narrowed his brown eyes and walked slowly. He was a few steps forward then I ran after him.

I don't want to miss this man too.

As though from the strangeness of my thoughts my heart pained a little.

“Oh, I wasn't—” alone. Jeongguk was with me.

Wait.

“I haven't seen you around, are you a new student?” or a new teacher?

He didn't answer me. He looked around wildly and there a little way up to the opposite side, by the entrance to a narrow path was another old building. The man was already running towards it.

"He must be in a hurry."

But this wasn't the time to be watching him. I needed to hurry too. The rain was cold and I didn't want to catch a fever.

I turned on my heel and started for the dorm.

Then, suddenly, there was the sound of a screech and I turned around in horror.
