“He is etheral, almost ghostly.”
Myung-He's pov
Taehyung looks exactly like the man I had seen inside the building on that rainy night when Joengguk and I took shelter under the dormitory.Taehyung was slender and way more graceful with a steady gaze. The almond brown eyes that seem like they hold a universe in them.
It feels rather like I was looking at an unreal portrait. The reddish lips could drown blood from it any moment from the way it looks.
Subconsciously I bit down my own lips.
The young master Kim Taehyung, the way he looked wasn't anything like ordinary. There is a burning fire in those mysterious eyes.
I wouldn't blame Mr. Hoseok for telling us before that every man had thought Taehyung was pretty.
I didn't know whether I should smile or cry. I have seen this man's ghost, I flash it on that thunder.
"Gguk" I called him. Mh eyes are still on the portrait.
"Jeongguk!," I called out one more time. Upon not receiving any answer I turned my head and saw Jeongguk’s narrow eyes studying Mr. Kim's sharp features.
"Jeongguk come see this!"
He left the portrait of Kim Namjoon moving where I stood in front of the young master's picture.
"Oh. So this is Kim Taehyung," Gguk hummed. "He's just like rumoured."
Confused at the reaction that was entirely different from what I expected, I gazed up at the portrait again.
"Oh my goodness!!."
I stumbled back.
Stunned, I close my eyes and opened it again, repeating the action.
The portrait had changed.
The face this time is entirely different. When did I start to have hallucinations?
"Gguk this isn't it!"
"Hm?" He looked back confused.
"I mean this is so absurd when I had checked before it wasn't the same face."
"Myung what you are saying. Picture changed itself?"
"Leave it Gguk, maybe it's my head. lately I have been stressed more than usual."
We studied the painting which looks entirely different.
He may have looked like a girl but the strong will was fairly pouring out of his entire body leaving no doubt that he was in fact a boy.
"It's like he painted the model's entire being. This is a good painting."
"Yeah. You can get a better sense than from a photo," I agreed looking at the young master Kim.
"So he was pretty."
"Yes."
I had thought many times that it wouldn't have been surprising if some of his classmates had pushed themselves on him because of it. Not that I would tell anyone.
"Well let's get going soon."
I started walking, pulled along by Gguk, when suddenly I almost screamed.
I grabbed onto his arm tightly and he turned to me in surprise, eyes widening in shock as they fell on the wall above the mantle.
"Jeongguk..."
He wrapped comforting arms around my trembling form.
"Well that's odd."
There that wall was blank with just a white rectangle to show that something had been there once.
The portrait of Kim Taehyung just disappeared!.
It is so superficial as if it was only there waiting for us to examine.
The face only existed for me to see.
Because what Jeongguk had seen wasn't the same. Only I have seen the real Kim Taehyung.
How hard I tried I couldn't figure out a natural explanation to what happened and I know Gguk felt the same way from his silence all the way back.
