“I won't lose you, not
even in my dream”

Myung-He's pov

"Gguk...Uhmp...!." My face was pressed against his hard chest. I tried to wiggle away from his hold.

"What's wrong with you Gguk?" Even when I'm trying to sound angry I know my face must be looking red like a tomato.

"I thought we could use a free cuddle now." There you go. We were in our bedroom and Gguk's strong arm engulfed me in his warmth once again.

"You can but please don't breathe on my ears."

"Can't promise."

"Gguk?"

"Uhm"

"Are they offended?"

"Who?" He lifted his face from the crook of my neck and his expression changed when he understood what I was talking about.

"Your uncle seems unimpressed."

"You mean uncle Jimin? He isn't against you, believe me."

This night they didn't join us for dinner so I was running my mind about them not liking my presence. But Gguk told me that they were going out for something special.

"But why? I can't digest the fact that they are actually so nice after knowing I am from a poor family."

Our relationship was a complex one from the very beginning, hence sometimes I wish I could make this easy for both of us.

"My uncle is a little grumpy, but he isn't against us."

"Good I guess," And just like that our talk came to an end.

With the promising security of Gguk I closed my eyes but my conscience got disturbed by a peculiar sound.

I concentrate and it becomes clear and clear. That was the sound of cricket chirping, that's strange.

I slowly opened my eyes into the dark shadows of tall trees surrounding me. They swayed side by side in the wind.

laying on the forest ground I hear my own heart beating crazily. I straighten up standing on the ground crushing the leaves under my feets and slowly walk without any direction. My body starts to get cold along with the surroundings.

What am I doing in the forest? And even at night!

The narrow forest path I took seems enough for a person to walk through without getting caught with creepers. The tall tree creates a shadow around me under the full moon light.

Still I managed to get through the muddy forest path. The wind became harsh announcing the sudden downpour. I struggled to run through the slippery mud.

When I stood there on the clear path feeling dejected a strange thought crossed through my mind. These events feel like a repetition, everything, the road, forest, even that flickering dim moon light, it was an exact replica of something I witnessed somewhere.

I need Jeongguk's help to escape from this endless nightmare.

I glanced at my watch and it was 7:00.

If it was a repetition of what I think it is, there must be someone I could find . I gulped in fear looking ahead. The heavy downpour was making it difficult to see clearly. I hurried down.

I could see some blurry silhouettes. That will be the one who can save me from my nightmares. I rushed towards him. The moment I clearly saw the face I halted my step.

It was my beloved, my saviour looking as much as stunned as me. I breathed out of relief and smiled at the shocked male.

"Jeongguk!I found you, I thought I would die without seeing you."

"Run!!." Joengguk shouts.

"What ? I come to see you Gguk."

I narrowed my eyes when I saw Joengguk's face glitched and slowly reformed to Jeon Jungkook.

"What's happening?"

“Seara, Run” Joengguk yells, calling me by his sister's name.

Oh right!

I'm back to the world of the dead.

I'm inside a nightmare.

That's when I saw someone's shadow behind Jeon Jungkook. In another moment I witnessed the worst thing I ever could.

A hammer hit Jeon Jungkook and he stumbled then fell back to the hard ground.

Seara! No!" He screams.

I felt pain in my stomach.

I pressed my hands there and took them in front of my eyes.

I saw my own blood slipping through my hands.

Pain, sadness and desperation were everything I could feel but I couldn't figure out what was happening to my own body before I fell to the ground.

"Jungkook?"

I saw it through my blurred vision.

"Don't... Leave... me." Jeon Jungkook hardly made out.

Jungkook's blood tickled down through his handsome face and gradually pooled around him as his face started to grow pale. He took staggered breathing while his teary eyes stayed on my face.

“Sea—” he was crying.

His hands move forward to catch mine. until it can't any more. Despite a good distance separating us I want to hold his hands.

But I lay there unable to move.

We were facing each other even when we were dying.

Our eyes met and I could see Jeon Jungkook's face had that smile, melting my heart.

Exactly like Jeongguk.

But how hard I tried to reach him, my hands never succeeded.

Were we going to end up dying like this?

"Jungkook..."

"Myung..."

Is he going to die?

"Myung... don't cry."

Uh?

"Myung! stop crying!."

"Ehh?"

"Open your eyes!."

I groaned from the cold on my skin as my eyes slightly adjusted to the light.

I soon come back to my senses. I saw Jeongguk gaze fixed on my face. It's all a dream! a terrific one. I hug him tightly, looking every inch of his face closer.

"Why are you looking at me like that, Myung?"

I'm glad we are still alive.

"You dreamed again, didn't you?"

I didn't answer his question, instead I connected our lips.

I feel like I'm seeing him after ages.

I felt it's my rebirth.

"Please hold me Joengguk."

I can't lose you Jeongguk, not even in my dreams.

Then I whispered feverishly "I love you."
