Percy was late to the meeting. Figures, when was the boy ever on time? Why would Leo replace me for someone like him?
Wait. No. I can't think about him. I'm with Will. Wills my soulmate. I love Will.
Leo and I were in a very heated glaring contest, him sitting on the table while I was standing, our faces only inches away.
I heard Percy come in, but I didn't bother to look up. He walked behind Leo, muttering a small "coming through".
Out of the corner of my eyes I saw him stretch, before pushing Leo forward and onto me, our lips connecting.
Before I knew what o was doing, I kissed back. Leo seemed shocked for a moment, but slowly kissed back.
It felt so good I didn't even remember Will. Shit! Will! The moment I remembered my fiancé, I pulled away.
Leo's face was a bright red but he walked over to Percy and sat down, probably on the glare Will was giving him.
Will—most likely deciding he didn't like what just happened—marched over to me and sat me in his lap.
Yeah, he was definitely trying to show Leo who was boss. The only thing was, Will had never kissed me like that.
For a moment I remembered something, someone. He had sandy blond hair and was smiling at me, although the me in the picture didn't look much younger, maybe a month or two.
"Yeah. Something about it seems off, especially because you used to date," he had said, and for some reason I knew who he was.
"I never dated him," The other me growled.
Luke held his hands up in defense, "okay, okay. But just so you know, I can see the way he looks at you. It's more than whatever the blond boy looks at you with,"
I was returned to my thoughts when Percy cleared his throat and Leo stood up.
"So-" his voice came out more like a squeak, kind of like if puberty hadn't started until this moment. His face turning an even brighter red, he continued. "We need a plan to defeat Cha-,"
Percy held his hand over Leo's mouth, stopping him from finishing the name. I wish that was me, at least then I would have an excuse to hold Leo.
Wait. I didn't just think that right?
Ugh. Just continue on Nico. Continue on listening to stupid Valdez talk about stupid plans to defeat stupid Chaos all while being stupid cute.
It's all stupid.
Ugh. We were barely getting planning done. At least I was. How was I supposed to work when I was snuggled up against Will.
And why was I so irritated about cuddling with Will?
Ugh. This wasn't working.
Leo turned to me expectantly, and just stuttered out random words, "uh. Yeah. S-sure,"
He nodded and dragged me away, carrying files with him, "listen, I know you weren't paying attention. Like it or not, I know you well. I asked if you would train us, you down?"
"Oh, yeah, sure. Why did you bring files?"
"This has the bunker nine security password if you ever need it. Plus I needed to look important when I dragged you away. It also has a phone and number only for me, you, and Percy. Our numbers are on there that way we can communicate,"
"What about Will?" I asked.
"I didn't have enough time to make him a phone. It's fine though, it's not like we're doing anything bad, Neeks," we walked forward and he ended the meeting.
A thousand thoughts were streaming through my head. Of course he had already given Percy a phone, I was just the extra. Why did I like kissing him so much? And why did it feel like it had happened before.
Sighing, I looked up at the sun which was starting to fade in the sky and shadow traveled to bed.
