𝔄𝔰 soon as they left the ball, they had quickly rushed to their rooms and packed some stuff for the weekend. Elyse had told Luna she needed to spend time alone and was going home, simply to avoid the questioning, of something she had no answers to. Once packed and ready to go, she met him at the entrance of the school and they made their way to Hogsmead. It hadn't taken them too long to arrive.

"It's always nice to get away." Draco muses as he puts their stuff downs, making her hum in agreement as she opens the curtains. She smiles as she looks at the village, covered in snow as it's being illuminated by the street lamps. Elyse feels his arms wrap around her waist and he rests his chin on her shoulder. "Did I mention how beautiful you looked tonight?"

"Once at the ball, twice one the way here." She giggles as she turns around to face him, causing him to smirk. They didn't bother getting out of their outfits from the ball, although Elyse had taken her heels off. "Well, you did look extremely handsome."

"I know." He says, causing her to hit him playfully and he chuckles, before letting her go. He walks towards the bedside and turns on the lamps. "I would not mind sleeping for the rest of the weekend."

"Boring. Live a little Malfoy. You didn't ask me to come to Hogsmead for us to spend the whole time in bed." Elyse huffs, making him smirk as he looks up at her and she walks up to him.

"I don't see why not." He hums as he picks her up and throws her on the bed, making her squeal and giggle. She sits back up as he stands in front of her, making her breath get caught at the back of her throat.

"Draco, you're a blanket hogger. I'm not gonna spent the whole time here, freezing cold." She says pointedly, trying to avoid what he was suggesting, making him roll his eyes at her with an amused smile.

"I know ways to keep you warm." He says, making her hit him again and all he does is chuckle. Draco puts his hand on her jaw, making a chill run down her spine at the feeling of his cold hand and the cold metal of his ring. He leans down and without hesitating, presses his lips against hers. Just like his hands, his lips are cold against her warmer lips. "You have no idea how long I've wanted to do that."

"Well, considering the fact that we've known each other nearly 17 years, and the fact that we didn't know what kissing was until we were 6. So I'd say maximum 11 years." She hums, causing him to roll his eyes at her. He tugs a few strands of hair behind her ear, before leaning back down and she can't help but smile happily. "You don't understand how happy I am right now."

"Good. Because I only ever want you to be happy." He says firmly, making her grin. She takes his hand from her cheek and holds on to it.

"Now. I'm hungry. So please can we go out and get something to eat?" She muses, making him hum as he helps her up on her feet. "Let's get changed."

"Can I come with you?" He asks teasingly, making her glare at him as she walks past him and takes her bag, before going towards the bathroom.

"No. You can't." She huffs and closes the door, a smile stretching on her lips as she hears him chuckle on the other side. Elyse pushes herself off the door and opens her bag to take out something more casual to wear. She decides to put on a loose pair of blue jeans and a black turtleneck sweater. Removing her makeup and tying her hair up in a bun, before walking back out to see Draco having finished changing.

"Will you not be cold?" He asks worriedly as he notices the thin fabric of her sweater and she rolls her eyes at him.

"I'll wear a coat. Don't worry." She chuckled, making him frown as the worry doesn't seem to leave his eyes.

"Well, don't come whining you're freezing, later on." He says, making her roll her eyes.

"You're so annoying."

"No. You are."
