𝔇𝔯𝔞𝔠𝔬 had asked her to come to his room after classes, because he wanted to take her somewhere. She didn't really understand why she had to meet him in his room for that though but she decided not to question him about it. As she makes her way into the common room, she notices Goyle and a bunch of other Slytherins gathered in front of the stairs towards Draco's room.

"Excuse me. I need to pass." She hums with a fake sweet voice, making them turn to face her and scoff in annoyance. Most of them move to the side but Goyle and a few third year students stay.

"What are you doing here, Lestrange?" Goyle asks in annoyance, making her huff as she crosses her arms over her chest.

"None of your business, Goyle." She snaps, making him chuckle as he raises an eyebrow.

"You're in our common room, so it is my business." He says firmly, and she rolls her eyes in annoyance.

"I'm here to see Draco. Not the first time Goyle." She snaps angrily, making him smirk in amusement.

"Honestly, I really don't understand why he keeps you around. It must be pity. Because you're boring. You like to spend your time reading and studying. I can't believe he chose you over Pansy." Goyle spits, making her clench her jaw and look up as she notice Draco slowly make his way down.

"You're not going to say anything are you?" Elyse asks him, and he is about to speak up but when he looks around he decides not to. Goyle smirks as he realises Draco picked his side once again, making Elyse scoff.

"Fine. But you're wrong, Goyle. Draco doesn't keep me out of pity, he keeps me around because he's desperate for attention and approval from his father. And I keep him around out of pity because I wouldn't want to have friends like you." Elyse snaps, before she turns around and makes her way out of the common room.

"Elyse, wait." She hears Draco call after her, but she ignores him. He eventually catches up to her and stops in front of her, making her glare at me. "Will you stop."

"No. I will not. Draco, I forgave you for what happened last time. Because you made me think it was because you were afraid to love me. No, you're not afraid to love me, you're ashamed to love me. You're ashamed of me." She says, as tears form in her eyes and he shakes his head to deny.

"No. I'm not." He says, making her scoff.

"Then you're lying to yourself. It's obvious. You can't defend your best friend of sixteen years. Draco we've known each other for sixteen years and you can't defend me in front of your fellow Slytherins. Then you don't want anyone to know about us and now, you once again can't stand up for me. You can't keep watching as your so called friends push me down, the one who has always been there for you." She breaths out, making him soften as he looks at her sadly.

"Ely..."

"I've been there for you. All the time. Every single time. Why can't you be there for me? Just once in your life. Am I asking too much? Or maybe, maybe I was wrong this whole time. Maybe everyone is right, you're selfish asshole who only cares about yourself! Maybe that's it!" She exclaims angrily as tears run down her cheeks. Tears start to form in his own eyes, as he realises that he messed up badly and was loosing his best friend. "I hate you, Draco. For making me think that you truly loved me."

"Ely. I do. I really do love you." He says defensively and all she does is shake her head.

"No. Draco. You think you love me. But all it is, is your need to have someone you can keep manipulating. Well I'm done. I'm out. Maybe Pansy will be more willing to play your little game." She breaths out, before she pushes past him and walks away, leaving him all alone in the hallway.
