𝔈𝔩𝔶𝔰𝔢 leans forward, smiling happily as she watches them fly past her on their grooms. Cheers surround them. It felt like an eternity since she had felt this carefree and happy, with the way things had gone down the last time she had been home. She felt burdened and unlike herself. Draco had noticed it as well, he had tried to help her through his own pain, but she was too busy trying to help him. But he wasn't the only one who noticed the change.

"Who do you think will win?" Draco asks over the loud cheering, making her lean back and link her arm with his.

"I'll have to say Gryffindor." She muses, making him shake his head as he kisses her cheek and she leans into him as a blush rises to her cheek. "Hufflepuff is giving a good fight though. It's hard to tell."

"We'll eventually find out." He chuckles, causing her turn smile at him, before focusing on the game again. Elyse leans forward again as she sees Harry Potter reach out for Golden Snitch, but miss closely. Draco can't help but be amused by how concentrated she is.

"That was so close." Elyse breaths out, making Draco hum in agreement. She sits back, and leans against Draco, as she rests her head on his shoulder making him wrap his around her. She looks down at her lap, realising her black skirt blended perfectly with his black pants. "We're dressed as if we're mourning."

"Are we technically not... the loss of our own freedom." He points out, making her look up at him with a heavy heart. He looks down at her and smiles weakly. "Let's not think about it for today."

"Okay. I'm sorry."

"Don't worry. It's fine." He assures her, as he kisses her forehead. She smiles softly as she continues to watch the game. "Let's get out of here."

"What? But the game." She snaps her head to look at him and he shakes his head as he stands up. He offers his hand to her and she takes it, before he pulls her up. They slowly make their way out of the stands, but they don't notice Hermione look at them intensively. "Where are we going anyway?"

"Anywhere your heart desires." He says, as he wraps his arm around her waist and pulls her closer to him. She smiles softly, as they walk back towards the school. They reach a bench under a tree and sit down. "I have something I want to give you."

"What is it?" She asks curiously. Elyse watches as he removes his ring, and takes her hand. "Draco..."

"I just want you to have it." He says, as he slips the ring over her finger, but it's too big on her. She makes a mental note to get a chain to put the ring on and wear it as a necklace.

"Thank you." She smiles softly as she pecks his lip, making him smile softly. He tugs a few strand behind her ears and rests his hand on her cheek.

"I love you, Elyse."

"I know. I love you too." She hums, as she closes her eyes and lean into his hand. She takes a deep breath before sighing. "Maybe, we could run away. We could go to the Muggle world."

"We can't. Ely. That's not the life I want for us, on the run." He says, making her snap her eyes open and look at him on disbelief.

"And this is any better? Draco, it's a death certificate!" She snaps, making him flinch slightly and she immediately regrets it. "I'm sorry. I just... I just want us to be happy again. I want us to be the way we were last year."

"I know, Ely. I'm so sorry. I'll do anything to make sure you're happy again." He says in determination, making her smile weakly.

"And I will do the same for you. Because my happiness is in you." She muses, making him smile as he leans forward and connects their lips, in a loving kiss. Her heart flutters, as his hand moves to the back of her hair, pulling her closer to him.

"So that's what you two are up to." They pull away and turn to look at Blaise who is smirking in amusement. "I saw you guys leave the game. Was wondering where you went, but I shouldn't have expected anything less."

"Shove off, Blaise." Draco grumbles, slightly annoyed his make out session with his girlfriend was cut off.
