Best Mistake

Chapter 2

The rest of the week went by fast. Nothing happened in the first week of school well, except a couple of smirks and looks here and there.

It was a Friday evening and everyone just got off from school.

I got a text from the group chat, it was Jet telling us about a party. "Hey you want to go to the party later?" Sokka screamed from across the house.

"Yea sure, why not!" I screamed back. The party was gonna be at 11 so gotta sneak out because my dads gonna be home by then. Easy.

The sun had already set and time was passing by. Sokka and I snuck out of the house, through the window , and into the car.

"Ok, so who's driving?" I asked, standing outside the car ready to go in.

"I will, just tell me where the party is at." "Ok it's like a 15 minute drive." I said as we both got inside the car.

Sokka turned the car on and was already out of the driveway. I told him the directions to the party. Sokka had to park away from the house because there were too many cars parked at the house.

It was already 12 am, we got out of the car and went through the open door.

The minute I went inside I saw 2 people making out in the corner and others dumping alcohol on each other.

Others were playing beer pong, the music was blasting in my ears but it was nothing new. I could smell the strong Alcohol too.

Sokka and I went to go look for our group, but they found us instead.

"Hey. Y'all came here." Jet said as he handed us a beer.

"This party seems pretty wack." Sokka answered, taking a sip of his beer.

"Where's smellerbee at?" I asked, looking around the room full of parting people.

"She's going to get a beer for herself but she's gonna come back" Jet replied.

After talking for a couple of minutes smellerbee finally came.

"Finally you came. I was waiting for you." I said hugging her back.

"I went to get a-" before smellerbee could finish her sentence someone stood on a table and yelled through the kitchen

"If y'all want to play a game come to the living room!" The guy then got down from the table as others followed him.

"Y'all tryna go play?" Sokka asked. "I wanna play. Y'all down?" I looked for the other approval, they nodded indicating they were down to play.

"Alright let's go." Jet said, we followed him to the living room. We took a seat on the firm black couch and talked to other people.

"C'mon guys, let's play." Suki said.

"We don't even know what they are playing." Azula replied, taking the last sip of her beer before throwing it on the floor and smashing it.

"Well then let's go find out dumbass." Zuko said.

We followed them to the living room. I looked around the living room seeing the Waterbender talking to two girls named Nutha and Niyok.

I turned to the whole group, he spoke, "Guys we should play, maybe it will be fun."

He started praying in his head that they would say yes.

"Alright, this party's boring so I'm gonna play." Haru answered.

Finally the other gave in and decided to play too. Other people were playing too.
