BONNIE and Daryl arrived back at the church to see everyone inside.

The pair walked through the door and noticed all eyes on them "The priest says there's a store in town, a couple of us are going to take a look." Rick told the pair and they nodded.

"I'll stay here, look after the kids." Bonnie offered and Rick nodded, then looked at Daryl "I'll stay, set up some traps around 'ere." Rick nodded "Alright, we'll be back in a couple hours."

Rick, Bob, Sasha, Gabriel and Michonne left the church as Bonnie began to get her and Frankie settled in.

Bonnie set up what they had, which was pretty much nothing, in the corner of the church.

"Hey Bon, how are you feeling?" Maggie asked as she sat on one of the benches beside Bonnie "I'm alright, just tired." She told Maggie "What about you?" Bonnie asked gently, careful to not talk about Hershel and Beth.

"I'm alright, still kickin'." Bonnie brought the girl in for a hug "I will always be here for you Maggie, always, so much so you will get sick of my ass." Maggie laughed as she hugged Bonnie back, before they pulled away.

"Is it bad that I feel uncomfortable in here?" She asked Maggie as they walked outside to bask in the sunlight, Maggie chuckled "Why's that?" The pair stood out the front of the church.

"I don't believe in all that," Bonnie waved her arm towards the church "I'm an atheist." Maggie chuckled "I'm surprised it didn't burn down as soon as I stepped foot in it!" She joked as Glenn walked past "Are you a sinner Bonnie?" He mocked as Bonnie spotted Daryl making his way back over.

"Forgive me father for I have sinned." She played along getting a laugh out of Glenn and Maggie "I don't really understand all that stuff." Bonnie told them and they chuckled "I mean, where is there room for a god in this world?" She asked them and they shrugged.

"Gabriel would say otherwise." Glenn stated and Bonnie shook her head "I better get back in there, check on the kids." She waved at Glenn and Maggie before walking back inside to see Frankie sat with Judith.

A few hours passed and Bonnie was sat in the church, holding Judith while Frankie and Carl helped out Maggie and Glenn in securing the church.

Bonnie was enjoying the alone time, she had not had any for a while and it left her to her thoughts. All she could think about was Daryl, how her feelings had grown substantially since the whole prison incident and Terminus.

Was it too soon though?

Bonnie layed on the floor, with Judith resting on her chest as the infant slept peacefully.

The blonde lay wondering, if maybe she would have a chance with the redneck she came to admire.

Bonnie stood up carefully with Judith in her arms before she walked outside to get some fresh air.

Daryl walked around the church, ensuring it was secure enough from a passing walker or two, but when he seen Bonnie he froze, ensuring he was covered by a tree, his feet felt like they were bolted to the ground.

Bonnie rocked Judith gently and he could hear the soft melody that came from her lips, one of the few songs he knew.

"So bye, bye miss American Pie," he felt a smile make its way up onto his lips before he quietly walked closer "singin' this 'ill be the day that I die." He watched carefully as she hummed the song, rocking Judith, and he could have sworn he felt his heart skip a beat.

"Hey Bonnie, I can take her for now." Carl's voice pulled Bonnie from her actions and she smiled "Yeah sure." She replied as she handed a sleeping Judith over to Carl and he walked away, leaving the girl to her own devices.

Daryl watched as she leaned against the side of the church and leaned her head back against it, she looked broken, like she could no longer handle the world they were living in.

"Aunty Bonnie!" Frankie came running towards the blonde, causing Daryl to ease into a walk helping him not seem suspicious "Hey baby!" Bonnie exclaimed as the girl jumped into Bonnie's arms and they hugged each other.

"Rick is back with food! A lot of it too!" The girl yelled excitedly as Bonnie lowered her to the ground "No way!" she played along as Daryl finally reached them "Hey Dare!" Frankie smiled up at the man and he sent her a nod.

"Go get Daryl and I a seat for dinner, we'll be inside soon okay?" Frankie nodded before turning and running away.

"Hey." She smiled up at him and he nodded back "How was setting up everything?" She asked him as they began walking towards the truck that held the contents from today's run.

"Yeah, it was a'right, could'a used your help though." he nudged her softly causing her to chuckle "Why didn't you come ask me?" Bonnie asked him, pushing some stray strands of hair behind her ears.

"Didn't wanna bother you." He responded and Bonnie rolled her eyes "Really?" She asked him with a sly grin and he nodded "Yeah, saw you rockin' the lil-ass kicker and singin' too her." This caused Bonnie to blush in embarrassment.

"Were you spying on me Daryl?" She bit her lip as they arrived at the truck "No." He responded and she laughed "Was my singing great or what?" She picked up a few crates that held some canned food before she walked into the church with Daryl in tow.

"Don't quit your day job." He remarked and Bonnie gasped as she dropped the crate on the floor "What if I just broke out into song?" Bonnie smirked and Daryl looked at her, a moment of silence passing between them.

"Bye, bye Miss American pie, drove my chevy to the levy but the levy was dry." She began to sing and Daryl huffed trying to leave the church, though Bonnie grabbed his hands.

Carol, Glenn and Maggie watched the two, while Rick chuckled "Them good ol' boys were drinkin' whiskey and rye, singin' this 'ill be the day that I die." Bonnie began dancing in her spot and Daryl shook his head at her actions.

Everyone could see their bond, it was special.
