"LOOKS like that door is our fastest way in, and out."Bonnie and the others geared themselves up to find what Eugene was looking for.
The Australian slipped the silenced pistol in the waistband of her pants, and slid the strap of a rifle over her shoulder.
"We should know all the exits first." Bonnie stated as she observed the area around them for any unwanted visitors.
"So we can organise a plan if things go south." Glenn added as he too observed the area around the group.
"I already got one," Nicholas turned to face Glenn with a smirk on his lips "car's going out front."
A growl caught Bonnie's attention.
"Bonnie, heads up." The blonde grabbed her knife and walked over, stabbing it through the eye.
She pulled the sharp blade out and the walker fell to the ground, and Bonnie turned around walking back over to the group.
"If there's one, you use a knife, save the ammo because we might need it." Bonnie aimed her words at Aiden and Nicholas especially, Tara, Noah and Glenn already knew better.
"Bonnie and Glenn are right, we should do a perimeter check." Aiden stated as he slipped a backpack on and the group nodded "Know our exits just incase."
Bonnie turned and walked towards Eugene and Tara, as the others went in the other direction.
The trio continued to walk as Tara killed a walker, causing Eugene to speak up "So you're aware I'm on record to state I shouldn't be out here? You will know that I am not combat ready, nor combat inclined."
Bonnie sighed.
She worried for Eugene, he had no idea what he was doing and that could prove costly to the group today.
"You never are till you are." Tara responded, holding her rifle in her hands and Bonnie nodded "She's right Eugene."
Bonnie walked ahead of the pair, knives in hand "You gotta start pulling your weight." Tara told him and Bonnie agreed.
Eugene stopping walking stopped the two women "What?" Tara asked and Bonnie kept a look out.
"All things bein' equal, I'd like to think my weight has been pulled, I got you all too DC, which in this man's standards is Nirvana by current standards." Bonnie snorted at his analogy.
"Except you didn't get us here." Bonnie replied and Tara nodded "We got you here Eugene."
"If it weren't for me and my mention of this city's potential for home and hearth, neither of you would have had the vision to come here, let alone the cahones to travail such a front and fraught such a pilgrimage."
Bonnie zoned out Eugene and his blabbering and continued to walk.
Bonnie, Eugene and Tara met back with others outside the door by the car.
"There are too many walkers out front." Noah mumbled to Bonnie and she nodded "Lets be quick, get the shit, in and out, no messing around." Bonnie muttered back to him.
