BONNIE'S eye's fluttered open, the small slits in the boarded up store provided much needed sunlight.Bonnie moved ever so slightly, forgetting the knife in her side again.
"Motherfucker!" She cursed loudly, her hand cupping the blade as she lifted a piece of wood on the ground beside her, up into her mouth to bite on as she pushed herself onto her knees.
Tears pricked the corners of her eyes like a storm rolling in onto the shores from the sea.
Bonnie let out a few harsh breaths as she looked at her surroundings, spotting next to nothing of use.
The blonde took hold of her makeshift cane and heaved herself up onto her feet to take a look around, spitting the wood out of her mouth.
"You look like shit."
The voice caused her eyes to widen and her head to snap towards the back of the store, where a tall figure stood in the shadows.
"W-What?" She asked breathlessly, her feet bolted to the floor where she stood.
Bonnie watched as the figure moved into the light.
It was her father.
"Don't get all excited to see me at once BonBon."
Bonnie closed her eyes tightly, this is a hallucination, she told herself and shook her head harshly.
Her eyes opened and yet there her father stood with a sickening smile on his lips "Where's that granddaughter of mine? She dead like the rest of us?" He mocked and Bonnie turned, ignoring him.
"What, you're ignoring me now? Your own father?" He asked, following her through the small store.
"You're not real." She muttered angrily and he laughed "I'm as real as the dumbasses outside, Bonnie."
Bonnie panted and heaved as she slowly made her way across the store, searching for anything to help stabilise her wound until she made it back to Alexandria.
"You know, I'm surprised you've made it this far. Thought you were the weakest out of you and your brother, turns out you're the strongest."
Bonnie felt her lip quiver as the memories of their childhood came back "What do you care? You never gave a shit about us at all." She remarked as her eyes rested on some gauze.
The blonde hobbled over and grabbed the few packages, sitting on a chair.
Her father's boots stopped right in front of her, and he kneeled down with his blue eyes coming into view.
Bonnie ignored him as she clasped her hand around the blade with a few baited breaths "You won't do it, you're too scared." He spat and Bonnie over at him through gritted teeth "Y-You're wrong." She replied.
He scoffed "Go on then, show me. You wouldn't." He mocked her and she closed her eyes as she ripped the blade out, screaming in pain.
"That's my girl, you did end up with the balls, huh!" Bonnie quickly tied the gauze as tight as she could around her midsection as blood spewed from the wound.
