AFTER the story telling, Bonnie retreated back over to her niece, though she had not realised Daryl followed her.

"Hey." He called gently, taking ahold of her hand causing the blonde to spin around and face him "Yeah?" Bonnie asked him tiredly and he sighed "How's your head?" He quickly asked to cut the tension.

She winced and shrugged "It's alright, I've had worse." She smiled up at him and he nodded, his curtains of hair bobbing along with him.

She sat down beside Frankie who was sleeping peacefully.

"Sit." Bonnie motioned beside her with a nod of her head, before Daryl fell beside her, leaning his back up against the wall of the barn.

"You know, with our current situation, I think I'd be pretty stupid not to say this." Bonnie mumbled from beside Daryl, turning her head to let her eyes cascade over his dark locks and dirt filled skin.

Daryl hummed curiously and he turned to look at her "I like you, Daryl." She whispered, her hazel eyes meeting his blue ones and he continued to let his eyes run across her face.

She looked away in embarrassment and Daryl let a small smile consume his features before he slid his hand into hers, intwining their fingers together.

The move made Bonnie look down at their hands and purse her lips "I don' know how to talk, or do all that love bullshit." He replied, pulling Bonnie's attention away from their hands.

Bonnie chuckled softly "But," he paused briefly "I like you too." This brought a smile up onto the girls face, along with a tomato red blush making Daryl chuckle lowly.

Bonnie nudged him "Shut up," she paused and looked forward with a shake of her head and a small smile on her lips "Get some sleep, 've got first watch." He stated.

Bonnie found his eyes again with a nod "Wake me up when you get tired and I'll take over." She told him and he smirked, knowing there was no chance he would wake her up.

"Daryl." She warned him and he scoffed and nodded his head "Yes ma'am."

Bonnie smiled and leaned forward, kissing the corner of Daryl's mouth carefully "Night." She whispered before laying down on the rough barn floor.

Daryl watched her move slowly, resting his arms back in his lap as everyone slowly descended to sleep after the tiresome few days they had endured out in the wild.

The soft kiss she rested on the corner of his mouth left him wanting more.

He found her addictive, to the point where he would search for her amongst the group daily just to hear her honey voice, to look into her hazel eyes.

Man was he well and truly whipped.

The sound of banging and loud growls and moans startled Bonnie awake, forcing her to her feet as an instinct.

Bonnie's hazel eyes waltzed over the barn and settled on the huge barn doors, in which held everyone pushing against them.

She ran over and pushed up against the barn doors with all she had.

Beside her was Maggie.
