steve's pov
*crying*
"Not it" I said quickly. Bucky pushed me and got up to comfort Peggy. He brought her into our room, because we moved her crib back to the nursery, and placed her in between us. it was 3 30am and it was really hot and she kept squirming and whining.
"Shall I take off her clothes?" Bucky asked me.
"Buck it's 70°F and we haven't got a fan. what do you think you should do." I asked sarcastically, annoyed.
"Jeez Stevie. okayy" he removed her onesie, leaving her in her diaper, and laid down next to her.
"Hey Stevie." he whispered
"What"
"I was thinking maybe if the weather gets hotter we can go to the beach. maybe take Peter as well. or all of us can go...like Nat,Tony,Bruce and so on"
"That's not a bad idea babe. Yeah. We'll see. but first go to sleep" I said, turning to face him.

bucky's pov
*crying*
"Peggyyyyy. Go to sleep." I said sleepily. She stopped...which was suspicious so I opened my eyes to see that she was about to hit my face. I quickly blocked it with my metal hand by acccident which made her cry even more.
"Buckyyyyy. StoP" Steve said sitting up. I gave him a confused look before sitting up as well. I looked at the clock 6 00. Steve took Peggy and held her close to his chest to stop her crying. he wasn't wearing a shirt...only shorts, so was I. it was way too hot today. I'm just worried if it's gonna be this hot on Stevie's birthday on Saturday.  I got out of bed and went straight to the shower. it was so nice and refreshing. I got out and put on a pair of shorts and went downstairs to go find Peggy and Steve.

steve's pov
Peggy was playing in the playpen while I read a book. I heard Bucky coming downstairs.
"You must be a hell of a thief because you stole my heart from across the room" I said as he walked towards the kitchen. He looked at me then blushed a deep red before running towards me, pulling me off the couch and pinning me to the ground. He had a seductive look in his eyes.
"Buck..." I gestured to Peggy -who was staring at us with her head tilted- with my eyes. He chuckled and gave me a quick peck on the lips before getting up and helping me up.
"papA" Peggy squealed. I looked at Bucky and back at Peggy then back at Bucky.
"Buck. Buck. she...she...she said papa...she said papa. oh my gosh..she said papa. PEGGY YOU SAID PAPA. HOLY SH- COW. PEGGY I CAN'T BELIEVE IT. DID YOU HEAR THAT BUCKY. SHE SAID PAPA." I shouted excitedly. I ran to her and picked up, hugging her tightly.
"Babe. Babe. Loosen your grip"
"oh dang. I'm sorry Pegs. but you said Papa" I said lifting her up and covering her face in kisses. She giggled and pushed me away. Bucky stood there with his phone out, recording us.
"Buckkkk."I said covering the camera with my hand.
"Whaaat. This is a beautiful moment. and when she says Daddy I expect you to do the same" he said flicking his hair back and walking away. I rolled my eyes playfully.
"Call everyone to see if they wanna go to the beach today" I told Bucky while walking upstairs to have a shower. "and keep an eye on Peggy." who was in the playpen watching The Flintstones on TV.

"Okay so Thor and Loki can't come because they have some shi- stuff to deal with on Asgard but apart from them everyone else can come. What time are we leaving?" Bucky asked, leaning on the doorframe with Peggy on his hip.
"Umm it's..." I checked the clock "9 00 right now. We can leave at....12 maybe?" I suggested, looking up from my book
"That works. Shall we put pegs to sleep or..."
"yeah. put her to bed and hopefully she'll wake up before we leave."
"Oki"  he said and went to the nursery.

"Yeah...Yeah 12. no no me and Buck are leaving at 12 and hopefully get there before 12 30-ish. no wha- tones you're not listening. leave at whatever time. just after 12. TONY. you know what. give it to pepper, she'll understand." I sat on the couch pinching he bridge of my nose. it was still too hot, all the windows were opened but uggghhh. "Hello Pepper? yeah. Yes me and Buck are leaving at 12. Yes. Exactly. Thank you. *sigh* yeah. ok. ok. bye"

"What happened?" Bucky asked as he walked up behind me and started massage my shoulders. I jumped but then started to relax at the feeling.
"Tony" I said lifting up my phone. He jumped over the couch and sat on my lap. He kissed me passionately, slowly grinding his hips on mine. Bucky cupped my face and poked my bottom lip with his tongue, asking for entrance which I granted. We made out for a minute before pulling away for air. He interwined his fingers with my sleeked back hair and pulled my head back. He kissed everywhere, my jaw, my collarbone until he found my sweet spot. I let out a soft moan as his hands slid down onto my waist, pushing my hips down to stop them from bucking up. I was certain there was gonna be a bruise there later on. We were just about to go further when we were interrupted by a cry. He let out a loud frustrated groan before getting of my lap.
"Here. Let me get her" I stood up and winked at him before running upstairs.

"You ready Pegster?"Bucky said while changing Peggy's clothes. "We're going to the beach. Peter is gonna be there. and Uncle Clint with Cooper, Lila and Nathan and Auntie Naaat and Uncle Pietroooo and um uncle Tonyyyy and aunt Pepperrrr and uncle Bruuuuce and Shuriii and uncle Stephen? Is Stephen gonna be there Steve?" he asked
"Dunno Buck. Maybe. Tony might've invited him." I replied packing the beach bag and Peggy's diaper bag.

"There we go Pegster." he said, standing her up to show off her outfit. She wore a black dress with white lillies on it.
"A black dress bucky? seriously? you couldn't of chosen a lighter colour like I don't know pink or hmm white?" I said with my arms crossed.
"I'm sorry Steeb but she looks adorable and plus it's flowy and we have an extra dress in the bag with a swimsuit. so yes... seriously"
I raised my eyebrows at the response but continued packing.

"We're here Pegs. You excited?" I asked, looking through the rearview mirror. She smiled and clapped before fumbling with her belt. I got out and undid her seatbelt then put her on my shoulders. she grabbed onto my hair...a bit too tightly and started 'playing the drums' on my head. Bucky took out the bags. We saw Tony, Pepper and Peter in the middle of... everything and walked towards them, setting up camp. We put Peggy on the sand but she quickly jumped up and whined.
"She's not afraid of spiders but she's afraid of....sand" Tony joked. I rolled my eyes and chuckled and put down a blanket for Peggy to sit on. Peter came over and sat down next to her and showed her how to make a sandcastle which she absolutely loved. Everyone else came one by one. Lila and Shuri really enjoyed being with Peggy and visa versa.

it was 6 30pm and everyone started going home as it was getting a little cold. I dried Peggy off before putting her in her car seat. Bucky had taken her into the ocean. She did not like it at all but soon began loving it so much she didn't want to leave. We were waiting for Bucky to come out of the shower. He came out 30 minutes later.
"What took you so long?"
"I'm sorryyy. I lost track of time."
"So you basically forgot you had a husband and daughter waiting for you in the car?"
He rolled his eyes and put on his seatbelt. Peggy fell asleep straight away.

We got home and had to wake Peggy up which wasn't out best idea. we changed her and put her to bed in the nursery and for the first time in literally forever, she slept there for the whole night without crying. I low-key kinda miss her sleeping next to us.
