Chp 17

I finally reached the school and bumped into Hinata right before I could reach the gym.

"Y/N!" He shouted, and he ran into me, hugging me. He lifted his head to me. "You look so much better! Are you gonna come see our game tomorrow!?" He was smiling from ear to ear.

I missed this.

"I didn't know you guys had a game tomorrow? But I'll try! I have to see Tsukishima first, though!" I slightly moved him away from him and began running again.

I got to the steel metal doors and slid them open. All eyes turned to me as they froze in shock.

"Y/N! You're okay!" Nishinoya shouted, running up to me. The thirds years followed and smiled.

"How are you feeling? Is it good for you to be up right now?" Asahi said. I nodded and answered the few questions the rest of the boys had.

"I can talk to guys more later but is Tsukishima here yet?"

"Go get him." Asahi said, grabbing Nishinoya from me. Daichi pointed to Tsukishima, who was facing the opposite direction of me.

I smiled. "Thanks, guys." I moved away from the group and walked slowly to him.

"You're right. It is your fault." I started.

I saw Yamaguchi glance up at Tsukishima. "Oh, not what I expected her to say." I heard Nishinoya say behind me.

"You have every right to be sorry. You're a coward for running away and putting me through that." I finally reached him and grabbed his face making him face me.

"But." He finally made eye contact with me. His eyes looked so pretty. There was a glass-like gloss over them. "I never stopped loving you. I don't regret this." He seemed to remove the tension in his face and give in to my touch.

"It was adorable hearing everything you love. You were right; you are a big dork. I'd love to hear about the figures you have, though. I'd also love to hear about everything else you love. You sounded so lovely speaking about it that night."

"And I really really do love you. I mean, I almost died for you, literally!" I teased. He darted his eyes back and forth between mine. He pulled me even closer to him by grabbing my waist.

"So I do love you." He sighed out as he leaned in to kiss me softly

"In the gym? Really!" Asahi said.

"That's my boy!" Nishinoya shouted the loudest, almost drowning out the other voices.

"It took him long enough." Hinata scoffed, entering the gym with Kageyama by his side. "I know. He so dumb."

"Shut it." He shot the two a nasty glare before his soft eyes returned to mine.

"I love you too." He whispered before kissing me once again.

"Get a room!" Asahi shouted. Tsukishima pulled away. "Can we use the club room?" He said flatly. Nishinoya laughed loudly, and Daichi facepalmed his forehead. "No. You may not." Tsukishima shrugged and moved me to his side.

He kissed the top of my head. Letting his lips linger there. "Thank you." He mumbled. "For what?" I said, looking up to him. "For loving me." He gave me another quick peck on the lips before sending me off. He pushed me slightly in Kiyoko's direction. "Get to work, manager. You've been slacking way too much." He said in his usual teasing tone. I looked back at him while walking towards Kiyoko and gave him a dirty look.

"I feel so single now." Nishinoya pouted. "How did that sorry excuse for a man get a girlfriend before me." He said while pretending to cry.

"Pick a struggle. Being short or being single." Tsukishima said, which caused Nishinoya to pounce on him and steal his glasses.

"Say it again. I dare you!" Nishinoya shouted as the whole gym erupted in laughter.

from this point on, the next two chapters are like side stories:)
