Side Story 2

"You know when you said that this museum puts new fossils out on display every month, but I didn't think we'd come every month." I sighed, leaning my head on his arm.

"I told you that you didn't have to come with me every time." His hand grabbed mine. "But you begged me to bring you every month.." He shrugged and kissed the top of my head.

"I don't mind coming. Just the line is always so long!" I whined out. "You're such a baby." He said, laughing under his breath.

After about 45 minutes, we were finally in.

"Oh god, finally!" I sighed. "Also, what's that special event mean? Do you they usually do those?" He shoved something in his pocket. "Not sure. But it's not for another hour so let's go see the exhibits you like." He smiled, grabbing my hand once again pulling me closer to him.

"You're awfully nice." I said, shoving our hands in his coat pocket. "I'm always nice. What do you mean." He gave a sly smirk, and I rolled my eyes.

We walked around the museum for around an hour before we headed to the special exhibit. "What even is this exhibit Tsukki." I looked up to him, and he looked to be lost in space.

"Hello!" I waved my hand in his face.

"Oh, sorry." He said, looking down at me. "What were you saying?" He looked nervous.

"What's wrong? You seem a bit off." He shook his head. "Nothing, let's just go to this exhibit." He gave a smile, but it was obvious he was nervous.

"We're here." He muttered, unhooking the rope that separated the exhibit from the rest of the museum. "Are we really allowed to be here? It seems like it's closed off." I clung to the back of his shirt. It was getting darker the farther we went.

"Kei." I called for him, but he wasn't saying anything. "Tsukishima!" I said a bit louder. He quickly gripped my hand holding it tightly. "It's alright. I'm right here, baby. I'm not going anywhere." His voice calmed me down, and I blindly followed behind him.

We made a sudden stop and were standing in complete darkness. "Kei, I can't see you. It's too dark." I muttered. "I know." He took both of my hands into his.

"Y/N." He whispered.

The lights started to turn on, and the ceiling revealed beautiful lights made to represent stars. They were arranged to make constellations. "Woah." I whispered.

"Was this part of the museum..." My voice faded when I looked at Tsukishima. His face was burning up with a red color while he was holding out a ring-shaped box. "Tsukishima. What're are you-"

"Wait. Can I speak for a bit first?" His voice was shaky.

"You really are my soulmate, Y/N. You taught me what love is. I could never see myself loving anyone but you." His voice all over the place, and the lights shined on the ring so beautifully.

"You never need to worry about me loving you because I'm hooked on you. I love how dumb you act. I love how your smile looks when you laugh. I love sharing every bit of myself with you." He inched closer to me, reaching for my hand. "This promise ring is just me solidifying that one day I will marry you. And that I love you so much."

I jumped into his arms, wrapping my arms around his neck and burying my head in his neck. "I love you." I mumbled into his neck while he held me tighter. "I promise never to let you go ever again." He mumbled while putting me down gently. 

He grabbed my hand and slipped on the ring. "It looks great on you. I have one too." He put him on, and I kissed his ring. We hugged once more, and he kept wiping tears away.

"Stop crying." He whined out, continuing to wipe tears away.

"I can't help it jerk." He playfully pushed him away. "Don't push me away." He pulled me into another hug, making me face up to him. He stared deeply into my eyes, and I melted into him. He kissed me slowly, caressing my cheek as he did. He pulled away and smirked.

"So, what's my gift?" I shoved him away again. "Bug off, perv. You're ruining the moment." He fake-pouted. "C'mon. I worked hard!" He said, pulling me into his arms again. "At home." I whispered, kissing his lips sweetly.

"Thank you for today. I loved it." I whispered, looking up at the lights.

"Thank you for loving me." He whispered, gripping my hand tightly.
