amortentia: most powerful potion, smells different to each person; according to what attracts them.
it was a regular day at hogwarts, the sky was clear and blue. the boys had potions class today with snape. although kairi and alvaro were indeed in gryffindor, they still hanged out with robert and roshaun who were hufflepuffs. the wasian boy headed out of his common room, followed by alvaro right behind him.
"i swear snape takes any opportunity to take points off of gryffindor" the wasian boy said as he held a tight grip to his books.
"of course he does, he's the head of slytherin; he's so fucking intimidating" alvaro claimed as he looked straight ahead.
the halls of hogwarts are always crowded with millions of students. almost impossible to find a way out. the two gryffindor boys tried to get out of the sea of students of all different houses. that was until they accidentally bumped into them.
"get out of my way cosentino" mattia spat, while alejandro smirked and gave them a mean mug.
mattia and alejandro were slytherins, of course. they basically ruled the school, they also bickered with the boys anytime they could. what the slytherin boys didn't know was that kairi and alvaro had the biggest crush on them.
what kairi liked about mattia was that he was always so confident, he knew what he was doing all the time; never unprepared. alvaro liked the way alejandro was so attentive in class, he knew every spell in the book; he was definitely smart, that's what attracted him.
alvaro and kairi sat down and got their notebooks ready to take notes. as the class was beginning, the boys who were dressed in slytherin gear came late. did snape deduct points from their house? no.
"okay class today we will prepare for a test, i'll make a potion and i will call on you to come up and tell me what it is" snape stated bluntly as he began to mix the ingredients.
kairi and alvaro looked at each other with worried faces. they knew they would most likely fail this practice.
"fuck did you study?" alvaro questioned kairi.
"no remember last time we tried to study we just sat in the common room eating chocolate frogs and-" kairi began but got cutoff by professor snape.
"alright mr.cosentino since you have a lot to say come up here and tell me what you smell and what potion it is" he stated.
as kairi stood up he could feel the eyes of his classmates on his back. the gryffindor boy walked to the front of snape's desk. he moved closer to the cauldron, he took in the smell. the scent was minty and had a decent hint of a familiar cologne.
"i'm not sure what it is, god it reeks of mattia's cologne in here" the wasian boy snarled as he looked at the tall boy who was smirking.
"and what do you smell mr. polibio?" snape asked mattia.
"a subtle scent of vanilla with a bit of something sweet" mattia gulped, knowing that scent was kairi's signature mark.
"well what do you think the potion could be?" the professor snarled.
mattia and kairi just looked at each other with a shocked expression on their faces.
"amortentia"the boys answered at the same time.
"correct" snape answered.
the boys blushed as they went back to their seats. mattia was surprised about the encounter they had. while kairi was embarrassed yet a blushing mess. the class went on, until mattia flew a note to kairi. the paper shaped like bird landed on his desk.
meet me outside the hall once everyone leaves
kairi smiled at the note and looked back at his slytherin lover and nodded with a smile.
