I sat outside Jisoo's room, thinking. Lisa was inside while I sat outside since we both needed space. I sat there fantasizing about saving Jisoo as darkness and lights flicked.
If my bone marrow could heal Jisoo, somehow, that might start fixing everything. My whole life. Instead of disliking each other, maybe Jisoo and I could go back to getting along like we did before I acted being an idiot. If Jisoo could survive cancer, maybe Mom could let go of worrying about every other possibility. Or at least we could remind her that Jichu survived cancer, for perspective. I could give up being jealous long enough to stop jabbing everyone with anger.
The doctor stabbed me with the Filgrastim shot in the left buttock, and a sting from a needle was nothing compared to the pain in the butt side effects. The headaches and joint pain showed up the next day.
Jisoo woke up a day after her sudden cardiac arrest. Lisa told us that she had a nightmare and woke up in the middle of the night but soon went back to sleep. I was at home while Lisa stayed to take care of Jisoo. After dinner, my head was pounding, and my elbows and knees ached. Seokjin knocked on my door.
"Brought you your headache medicine," He said.
"Thanks," I said, sounding surprised. "How'd you know?"
"You were moaning. Grandma."
"I was not."
"No," I can feel him smirking. "I read about the side effects online."
"Thanks." It was almost time for another dose of this medicine. I washed them down with water out of the glass of water Seokjin gave me.
"What do I owe you?" I joked, not knowing what else to say about Seokjin and I's relationship being a little okay.
"Just..." He paused, which made me look at him. "make our sis well, okay?"
"Sure," No pressure. I gave Seokjin a scared nod.

The next day I headed back to the hospital to get my blood. I turned to my arm where the blood was sucking off me and felt cold advancing. I sent a few messages to my stem cells.
Make Jisoo well. Don't get rejected. Make healthy blood cells in your new home. Don't kill my little sister. Be great for her. Please beat leukemia's ass. Save my dear sister. Please.

L I S A
I am here with Jisoo, staying with her from here on out. She was getting thinner, and the bags under her eyes were visible. Her hair started to fall out, so she decided to wear a beanie. She was reading a book like she always does.
The day she woke up, I explained to Jisoo that I was to make things right between us. Although she was initially hesitant, Joohyun snapped her out of her fears and agreed. I held Jisoo's other hand tighter, which held onto mine.
I wish we reunited in a better situation. Not like this. But then it got me thinking; my anger would have gotten the best of me. Joohyun and Jisoo's relationship wouldn't have been on better terms then.
"Li?" I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard her call my name.
"Is something wrong, love?" I asked, slightly worried.
