The room was pitch dark and cold this morning. KGE was still lying on the bed. She covered herself with her blanket from head to toe. It was really cold. She couldn't sleep all night because of the cold. This cold was gradually became colder and colder. Her room heater was definitely broken. She grunted.

She wore a sweater and legging to help her getting a little warmer. But it wasn't enough. She really had to asked the building maintenance to check on her heater today.

But it was the first day of 2020, it was a public holiday. She sighed. She definitely had to moved somewhere else until this damn room heater was fixed.

No answer

She tried to call her sister for five times but failed. She didn't answer. Darn! She probably was in her deep sleep after Soju and beer last night. She bet. Beside, it was 6am in the morning.

She shivered as the cold bit her bones. She really had to get out from her room or she would catch a cold. She couldn't use her bathroom now. She would be definitely frozen if she did.

It's new year
And my silly room heater is acting

She was in her living room now to make an emergency call.
Intercom dial

"Yeobseyo KGE-sshi.. How may I help you?" the apartment staff quickly answered her call.

"Yeobseyo ahjussi, I wonder if the building maintenance is on duty today. I believe my room heater is broken."

"KGE-sshi I apologize, but unfortunately since it was public holiday, our maintenance staffs are out of duty. But don't worry, we will arrange the reparations today. Let's see if we could get you the soonest schedule. Is it convenient enough, KGE-sshi?" he asked her politely.

"Ye ahjussi, gamsahabnida. I'm sorry to bother you this early. Please let me know if the reparation can be done today. And happy new year." she smiled and greeted him before she hung up.

She was about to dial her parents when she stopped and sighed as she remembered that everyone was in Jeju right now. She grunted.

Shall I come to your place then, Sanbaenim?
How embarrassing.

But I don't know where else to go
I think I'll be sleeping in the living room now..

KGE didn't have any better choices than let herself sleep in the living room. The sofa was comfortable enough for her to sleep on though. And the living room was warm to help her getting rid of the cold from her bones.
So that would do for now.
She fell asleep as soon as she hit the sofa. The Queen of Doze she was.

Living room
10am

KGE really had her good night sleep on the sofa in her living room. She always slept like a baby in whenever and wherever if she wanted to.

Ascending ring tone

It had been ringing like a hundred times.

.. The phone was left in the bedroom. And that ridiculously annoying ring tone was useless when the Queen was asleep. Always.

And the Queen was sleeping soundly under her blanket.
Sneezing.
