Chapter Two

Alyssa decided to take a shower since she smelled of blood and sweat. She had to forcefully scrub the blood that pooled in her hair.

Finally, it was all out and she exited the shower. Pulling on her crisp leather jacket, a grey t-shirt, tight fitting jeans, and combat boots, she walked into her brother, Tyler's room.

She lightly knocked on the wooden door before entering. Tyler was laying down on his bed looking up at the ceiling.

"Hey Tyler." Alyssa greeted. "Are you ok?"

"Did dad send you? Tyler spat the word dad out like he was eating poison.

"He did, but I was going to come anyway." She smoothly lied.

"Well tell him I'm just fine." Tyler spat.

2 years ago Tyler found his mate, Crystal. He loved her more than anything and wanted a better life for her. So he planned to run away with her but the day they were supposed to leave they were caught.

King Spencer made Tyler watch as he slowly killed Crystal and none of the other Wilder's could step in unless they wanted to die too.

Alyssa sent Tyler a weak smile and said before leaving,

"If you need anything call me."

"Sure." He said as she shut the door.

She huffed out a sigh before going down to the kitchen. She stopped on the second story where all the offices are and went down the hall to one of the elegant doors that lay there.

She lightly knocked and her brother Josh let out an annoyed sigh and said,

"Come in." With as much enthusiasm as a sloth.

"That kinda day?" Alyssa asked.

Josh let out a sigh of relief and said,

"Thank God, I thought you were Julia...AGAIN!"

Julia was the rogue girl who, not so secretly, pined after Josh. Really all she wanted was the title of Rogue Queen, and everyone knew it.

"I really wish I could kill her, I'd never ask for anything again." Alyssa tried with a sly smirk.

"Nice try but you know dad's rules." Josh said with a wary tone.

"Yes yes no killing anyone who is in his stupid inner circle. Blah blah blah blah bla." Alyssa mocked

"Hush! He'll hear you." Josh scolded

Alyssa winced knowing that Josh was right.

After a moment of hesitation, Josh said to Alyssa,

"Why'd you come down here?"

"I dunno, got bored I guess. I was going to get food but you seemed like better company then the thousand maids and omegas downstairs."

Josh shrugged and said, "True."

"Cocky much." Alyssa mocked

"Very." Josh replied.

Alyssa's stomach took this opportunity to growl and Josh asked with a slight chuckle,

"You want something to eat?"

"Absolutely...I'm leaving again in a few hours anyway."

Josh only rolled his eyes as he said into a phone,

"Victoria, can you come in?"

They both waited a moment before Victoria knocked on the door.

"Come in." Josh said.
