When Love Hurts-Chapter Five- A Crush

Will's house is big, very big with private garden grounds and outdoor pool. Pam parked her car outside his house that is already looming with people from our school as music blasted loudly from inside. The car valet took Pam's car and we walked up the stairs before i caught sight of Bruce. I almost stumbled on the stairs when i saw him, he is too hot! I felt nervous when i felt his eyes on me, taking in my attire. He had a black shirt and dark jeans that made his eyes and hair stood out. His dirty blond hair falls seductively over his head which made me wanted to drool. Eww.., i have to stop those weird thoughts in my head before i became one of the skanks that stood near him, drooling for all to see. I found Pam leaving me alone to Will's side and saw Dan walking over to me. He had a dark blue shirt and tight jeans that made him looked nice too. Dan smiled at me when he walked to my side, putting his elbow out for me to hold. I smiled back to him and stole a glance at Bruce who is looking quite uncomfortable. Maybe he really like me.. I brushed that thought away as Dan brought me over to the drinks table and i sighed in happiness when i saw food on the table.

"I'm starving!" I said and stuffed a small sandwich into my mouth before picking some ham from the plate with a fork. Dan smiled as he handed me a drink.

"Looks like it. I could almost see your face screaming with happiness when you stuffed the sandwich into your mouth." Dan emptied his cup and went for another one. I giggled as i continued eating the ham and was stabbing some meat when Pam stopped me.

"Not like that, Ashley. I don't want your make up to be ruined by the way you are eating now!" I huffed at Pam who quickly snatched my fork and plate and shoved the cup into my hand. Dan was laughing at me and i glared at him.

"I'm dying of hunger, Pam!" I complained but Pam only clicked her tongue. She waved a finger in my face and turned to Dan.

"Stop this piggy before she ruins my perfect master piece with all that food." Dan mock bowed at Pam while i just scowled at them. I wasn't fat.. I grumbled to myself while Dan just kept his laughing fit to the minimum. I slapped his arm and he held up his hands in surrender. The party went by with me and Dan drinking to our hearts content and by ten i'm tipsy. The fruit punch had little alcohol in them but apparently i have drank dozen of cups to be tipsy because i wanted to fill my stomach. I was running to the toilet half the time before i stumbled into a room upstairs. I saw Pam and Will and the others playing some truth and dare before i popped in and asked to join.

"Truth." I chose when the bottle spin to me.

"When did you lose your virginity?" A guy that i couldn't remember asked.

"Seventeen." I answered. Pam booed which made me glared at her.

"It's sixteen! Drink, you lied!" Pam said and shoved the whisky bottle into my hands. I took a swing and scowled at her.

"It's only a few days before i'm seventeen!" I tried to explain which earned a round of laughter from the ring. The bottle was snatched from me when i wanted to take a drink at it again. I turned to face Bruce who was sitting beside me now. I was a bit drunk now and couldn't think properly so i just smiled at him. Bruce smiled at me before passing the whisky bottle to another girl who was sitting beside him. After some turns the bottle in the middle spinned to Bruce.

"Truth or dare?" Will asked. I noticed his hand was rubbing up and down Pam's waist. I raised my eyebrow at Pam who winked at me. I giggled at her and turned my attention to Bruce who spoke.

"Dare." The guys in the circle cheered before Pam piped up.

"I dare you to kiss any of the girls in the circle!" The circle cheered again and i stared down at my hands. I don't think i wanted to see Bruce kissing any of the girls here. Especially Catherine who was smiling at Bruce. I was stunned when my head was grabbed by Bruce and i was forced to stare into his attractive green eyes. He smiled at me before leaning in. I felt a lump in my throat as he closed the distance between our faces. I licked my lips nervously which made him smirked. He was looking down at my lips as the crowd cheered 'kiss kiss kiss' . His lips touched mine gently and it turned into a full blown kiss. I was melting inside as he explored my mouth, his tongue teasing mine. There was a fire burning in me now as he continued kissing me hard. I felt a sense of disappointment when he released my head from his hands and our lips parted. The circle clapped and continued spinning the bottle ignoring my reddened face.
