When Love Hurts-Chapter Seven- Hooking Up With Someone Else.

Dan looked the same as he slid onto his chair beside me for Biology. Bruce stood up suddenly and gestured Dan to follow him which he did. I glanced at Dan when he appeared again with Bruce looking quite mad. Dan walked over to me and put his hand on my cheek, surprising me a little.

"Can we talk later, after class? At the tree outside i'm always at." I nodded at Dan's request and he smirked. I hadn't questioned him about the girl that he kissed, yeah, i do mind a little that he didn't tell me that he already found another target so fast when last week i still thought he liked me. Dan was eyeing Bruce without him knowing and i followed his actions. I could see that Bruce is fuming, his jaw clenching and eyebrows stitched together. Dan went back to his seat and throughout the period i could feel Bruce stealing glances at me. The class ended and i walked with Dan outside, hiding behind the tree where the teachers couldn't see us. Dan pulled me to lean onto his chest when we settled down on the grass under the tree which made me grasped.

"Dan! What the hell are you doing." I tried to pushed myself away but he held on.

"Do what?" Dan smirked when i tilted my head up. His eyes soften when i continued staring at him lost for words. He can't seriously be two timing that girl that he kissed just now right?

"This! I saw you kissing another girl today. You know i hate assholes who two-timed. Even you." I accused when i finally found my voice and poked my finger at his chest.

"You saw that? I didn't two-timed her. We're not even together." He laughed which made me blushed. I narrowed my eyes at him.

"So you mean you can go around kissing any girl and just skip the responsibility away?" He loosened his grip on me when i said that and i straightened myself to sit up properly.

"But you didn't want mine." I gulped when his eyes stared back at me sadly.

"Dan.. I thought we're over this." He smiled and shrugged.

"Yeah. I just thought that we had a chat here." He sighed and pulled me into his arms once more, squeezing me tightly.

"Just one last time, okay? Just a hug and i'll move on." He released me after he said that and i smiled at him sadly. His features cheered up instantly and grinned at me.

"I wanna ask you something." I nodded before Dan continued. " Are you even a little bit jealous when you saw me kissing another girl?"

"Are you serious, Dan?" Dan laughed when i gave a shocked expression.

"Just wanna know.. No other intention." He grinned at me before i slapped his arm playfully. I gave in when he tried to use the puppy eyes at me.

"Okay, okay. Just a teeny weeny bit jealous. And just because you didn't tell me you found another girl so fast." I added on when i saw Dan raised his eyebrow when i said i'm jealous. He smirked and brushed away the hair that kept flapping on my face and tucked it behind my ear.

"So who's that girl?" I asked him.

"Jackie." I gave him a WTF look and he just shrugged.

"You mean the Jackie with Catherine?" He nodded and i sighed. Jackie is the nice girl of the group that i mentioned before. But i sure as hell didn't know if she will be better than the rest of them in relationships. He wanted to say something but stopped when we heard footsteps in the grass, nearing us. Dan grabbed my head quickly, which surprised me, and held my head in a position where his head was above me close enough that i could feel his breath. He continued holding my head in that position as i mouthed a 'What' to him but he hushed me. The footsteps stopped and i heard someone clearing his throat before Dan pulled me up again. I raised my eyebrow in confusion when Dan smirked and stood up. I followed his actions and found Bruce standing a few feet away from us, glaring at Dan. Dan slung his arm over my shoulders, pulling me to walk with him back to the school. Bruce glanced at me before turning his attention back to Dan. I was really confused over Dan's actions and also Bruce's weird temper but couldn't figure it out on my own. I really wanted to ask Dan about it but i knew it would be fruitless. I had tried a few times in the past and he just gave me the same answer. Nothing. Bruce followed behind us as Dan is walking quite fast and almost made me stumbled on my foot, which i didn't only because Dan supported me. We missed a period and was entering the next one, Maths. The rest of the periods passed by and lunch time came. I walked into the cafeteria finding Pam in Will's arms, snuggling together. I giggled and waved to Pam who signalled me to go over to our table.
