School had been getting tough lately . I've had trouble sleeping. Can't organize for the life of me . I have these crash and burn times. I sleep all day but also cant sleep when I need to. Shit gets worse as the day goes on . The following week to keep up my stamina and seem sociable I come to school both having had way too much coffee and drunk. Not that anyone notices. Victors too all over his boyfriend Benji . Mia won't talk to us Andrew doesn't notice but not because he's malicious but probably because it's not that obvious.
Ms. Wong notices me shaking my leg in class as a product of all the coffee . The next day when I walk into the coffee shop Benji greets me
" Hello number 1 customer " He says
I drink my coffee and then walk out drinking some of the whiskey I put in my drink holder originally meant for water . I rinse it out by the water fountain of the park on my way to school. I enter bumping into things and losing my coordination .
" What the fuck man " One of the guys on the basketball team replies
" Sorry" I shout back
I go to class and can't understand a word on the paper. Me being completely perplexed just up and leaves . During lunch Lake kisses me and Victor and Benji are already being mushy.
" Why does your breathe taste like you've been living off of nothing but booze and coffee ? " Lake whispers in my ear
" It's just been rough ok ? " I say right back
" You guys coming to the party Saturday? Its being hosted by the basketball team " Victor asks
" Definitely " Lake, Benji , and I all say in unison
The Saturday of the party I go with Victor after I pick up Lake . We get together and as everyone is dancing I drink non stop throughout the night. Pretty much passing out by the time I find Victor, Lake, and Benji. I find the closest bathroom and vomit . I'm vomiting profusely . I get dragged home by Victor . I honestly just lay down outside of my apartment for an hour before entering my apartment . My mom vomiting as well presumably from having too much to drink . I lay down after I change clothes. I get a text from Lake
Lake Meriwether : You alright you had a horrible hang over
Felix Westen : Yeah just nauseous but it's to be expected
The next morning at school I get a teacher saying meeting with Ms. Wong after class
" I'm Felix heres this form " Ms Wong says
" what's it about ? " I ask
" an IEP thing . " Ms Wong replies
" what's that ? " I say
" An special education related issue " Ms Wong answers
Of course it is as if shit couldn't get worse I've got to be in the special education part of the school. Well this is awkward. I walk to lunch and sit next to Lake.
" What's with the sour face ? " She asks
" Nothing just got some issues with my grades and have to make up for it some way " I say. After the day was over I went on the Creek Secrets Tumblr to find the something I never thought I'd find.
