Felix's POV
Fezco's home was always a safe haven for my friends and I. I was placed in a chair right beside Fez's grandma .
" So Felix I heard those girls got arrested today " Fez says to me
" Yeah they did . That doesn't mean they're convicted though they still have to go to trial. " I say
" Is your mom worried about you? Does she know? " Fez asks
" Why do you care or need to know for that matter ? " I ask
" I think its strange you call me to pick you up bit not your mom. Listen being in this business you meet a lot of to put it bluntly shitty moms . I'm just worried . " He says his voice sounds serious well not his voice his expression .
" You really want to know what's going on with my mom" I say
" Yeah I didn't ask because I was bored. " He replies
" Get in the car and drive me to my place I'll show you first hand. " I say
" Alright then get your ass in the car" Fez shouts or as close to shouting as he can get.
We drive not to far. I give him the instruction the whole way .
" Is this the place?" Fez asks
" Yeah . I'll unlock the downstairs door " I say
We unlock the door as we run up the stairs . I open the door to my apartment
" This is my castle. Hope you fucking enjoy. " I say
" What happened? " Fez asks
" Hurricane Monica" I say
" Hurricane Monica? " Fez asks
" Yes Monica Gallagher Weston . Shes a goood mother when She's not being a lazy WHORE. Suffice to say she hasn't been a good mother in 7 years . " I say laughing.
" Whats in here " Fez asks
" A collection of beer bottle and old toys " I say
" Well little Ms. Lazy Whore at it again. " I say
" Hey we're coming back here for my seventeenth birthday of course. After the party at Stiles place " I say
" Alright um Felix we're going home " Fez says
" You're not missing anything special. " I say.
I get back in the car as we drive home.
Fez updates my emergency contact information putting him and my grandmother at the top of the list. He smokes for a bit . For the rest of the weekend we just sit around and watch whatever his comatose grandma wants and I just watch stuff on Youtube.
" Fez where's Ashtray ?" I ask
A car pulls up right in front of the door.
" Here's your shit . It's everything from your room that isn't broken, dirty, or that you've outgrown" Ashtray says
He hands me like three duffel bags worth of shit.
" Thanks I guess"
" You're staying here until shit gets fixed" Fez says
" What do you mean " I ask
" I'm your new emergency contact and you're staying with us"
" But what about hospital visits and shit like that" I say
" We'll figure it out when we find out your options " Fez says hugging me closely
" I have options?" I say
" You always have options and we're going to find them and use them. We're going to exhaust every option we have and make new ones if we have to. We'll move to a place with new options even " He says
" ok well what are the options ?" I ask
" Lets find out " He says
DCFS was one hell of a threat. I was afraid and had no idea how to move forward. I was still confused about the future and with no path forward its getting more confusing by the day. But Big Brother Fezco is always there when you need him.
The next upcoming 2-3 parts are going to be exploring the changing relationship dynamic between Fezco and Felix. As well as Alex and Felix and Skyler and Lake. Plus the new beginning to look forward to.
