Chapter 17

Zelk POV

We held the kiss for a minute or so. But we had to pull away for air.

My stomach exploded with butterflies and fireworks.

We locked eyes, and I went back in for a second one. I can't lie, ever since I've been living with Mega, I've always wanted to do this. Kiss his pink soft lips until my lungs burned from the lack of oxygen.

I deepened the kiss by pulling the shorter closer.

It felt nice, it felt right.

Pulling away again, I whispered in his ear.

"I love you, Mega."

And he kissed my cheek, flustered.

I looked back at him.

"You know, I've liked you for a while now. I just didn't think I'd confess while trapped in an elevator."

Mega nodded.

"Soo uh, I don't know what to say! I've never been in a situation like this."

Mega POV

I watched as Zelk searched his mind to try and find something to say.

Honestly, how did this happen? How did we get here?

It just... Happened, I guess.

And I love it.

It was just unexpected. I would have never imagined that I'd kiss my best friend in an elevator.

I grabbed my notebook and pen.

"Does that mean we're, you know, boyfriends?"

"If you want us to be... I guess."

"Great because I want to be in a relationship with you!"

And before Zelk had a chance to speak, I planted another kiss on his lips.

I've never been with someone else before, and this felt so good.

It felt like I'd die if I got separated from him.

I wrapped my arms around his neck.

We both melted in each other's grip.

Though I wish we could've stayed longer, we had to pull away because of a sudden bang on the elevator door.

Did someone figure out the elevator isn't working?

We quickly stood up and Zelk yelled:

"HELP PLEASE! WE'VE BEEN STUCK IN HERE SINCE LAST NIGHT!"

We might get out of here! I thought.

We heard a muffled voice on the other side of the door.

All of a sudden a man yelled:

"GET AWAY FROM THE DOOR!"

We backed away quickly before a big metal thing separated the elevator doors. (Yeah idk what I'm writing about, I made it up cuz idk how you get out of an elevator)

There was an engineer on the other side of the elevator.

"Are you okay? Did you get injured?" He questioned us.

Zelk spoke.
"We're fine. We've been here since last night. Oh, by the way, he can't speak."
And pointed at me.

"Why didn't you call for help?"

He asked while we got out of the elevator.

"We're both out of battery."

"Do you live here?"
