Chapter 17 (part - 1)

"I will drive today."

"No. You are still a novice."

"Yes. And that's why I need more practice."

"I am not risking my life by letting you drive in the traffic. Who knows you can get us bump into a pillar or something like that. My precious car will get damage. I can't risk it."

"If you won't give me keys, I will fucking hit your head on your precious car."

"Language kids. I wouldn't like to repeat myself again in future for this." Aunty said from the gates of front yard as she heard me yell at her son.

I and rudra was leaving for college and today I wanted to drive as I have been learning to drive from last 5 days and got a hang of it. I just need to try it on rushed roads. But that ass wouldn't budge and give me his allegedly precious car's keys.

"You see now mum. She is not all that angle that you think her to be." He said.

"Want me to remind you how worse you and kabir are than her." She threatened his son. I smirked and high five aunty.

"You are ganging up with her on me. Last time I checked I was your kid. Not her." He said incredulously which made us both laughed.

"And that's my cue to leave. I will let you 2 figure on your own, this burning issue of who is driving or not. But remember. No foul words." She told us.

"Aye aye captain." I said and saluted her. She laughed and walk back in. I turned to rudra. "I meant what I said earlier. I will smash your face on the hood of car."

"I am not letting you drive. That's it. Period." he said looking irrevocable.

I sighed before making my best puppy face to blackmail him. "You know I was very hurt that day when you said those ugly words to........ "

"Stoppp." He screeched. "You are not using my guilty conscience again on me. I have taught you how to drive car and scooty in last 5 days to make up for it. I am not giving in this time." He told me.

I laughed inwardly. I used his guilty conscience and made him teach me driving. I never had to drive myself back at home and I was busy with another things so I never persisted anyone to teach me. But now I wanted to learn and I saw perfect opportunity and cashed it.

"Okay." I replied him in a small tone and turned away.

In the count of 3....... 1....2...and....

"ugfff." I heard groan and one fully that he will give in.

Told ya. Evil me.

"This is the last time I am letting you rub that one mistake on my face and make me do whatever you want." He said and gave me the keys. I smiled triumphantly and winked at him. He grumbled and slipped in from the passenger door. I sat in and started driving.

I will admit I was a bit scared but was excited as well. I started driving and soon we were on main roads where the real traffic was.

"See. So good so far." I said when we stopped in red light. He just nodded. My phone lit up and beeped signaling a new notification.

"I will check it. You keep your focus on the road. I don't want to take any risk." He told me.

"Yes mom." I said in a bored tone and started driving again when signal turned green. He unlocked my phone and read the notification.
