Sam x Reader

Reader is pregnant and Castiel finds it very interesting, cute fluffy moment with the angel.

              Giggling softly you couldn't help but internally roll your eyes at your own dorky behavior. Moving your hand slowly you carefully laid another card on top of the tower you had successfully built on top of your large stomach. As you held your breath and lifted your fingers from the card your smile of triumph lasted only a second before the tall structure was knocked over.

Rubbing your hand over your stomach you couldn't help the small frown that formed, "Hey now yesterday I got two more cards on before you did that!"

As if in response you once again felt the soft kicks of your son, smiling softly your attention was suddenly pulled from your future soccer player to the doorway. Castiel walked into the room and gave you one of his signature looks of utter confusion. "Who are you talking to Y/N?"

Swinging your feet off the couch and moving to sit up you giggled softly, "Just the baby, we were playing around but he seems too excited to cooperate today."

Tilting his head the angel only seemed to grow more confused. Walking forward and sitting beside you he simply stared at your baby bump. "Does it feel awkward having another human inside of you?"

Thinking for a moment you shake your head, "Not really, at first the thought kind of freaked me out a little, and the first time I felt him move I almost peed myself. But really its kind of comforting to feel him moving around and knowing I am keeping him safe and warm."

Nodding as you spoke Cas moved his gaze to the floor as he thought about what you said. Smiling as an idea popped into your head you moved closer to the angel. As he looked up to meet your eyes you reached forward for his hand. Lifting his hand and placing it on the side of your stomach where your son seemed to be stomping to an unknown beat you waited.

"Y/N what are you..." The angels eyes widened as he was cut off by the sudden bump bump bump of your sons foot against his hand. Looking up to your face he smiled wide at the unfamiliar feeling.

"That is an odd yet wonderful feeling."

Smiling as you leaned back against the couch you dropped your hand from his, "Talk to him Cas, he likes to hear your voice."

Turning his head to look at you Cas had the cutest look of utter confusion on his face. "He can hear us?"

Nodding your head you watched as a small smile formed on his face once again. Leaning forward towards your belly Cas cleared his throat, "Um, hello baby, this is Castiel. I am an angel of the Lord. I am very excited to meet you."

Looking up at you Cas seemed lost for a moment until you smiled and told him to keep going. As he began talking again, telling the baby about how he met his father and uncle your son kicked a few more times in excitement. You could tell he already loved his Uncle Cas. Seeing movement from the corner of your eye you looked behind Cas and saw Sam standing in the doorway with a confused yet amused expression on his face.

Motioning him forward you waited until he sat beside you and placed an arm around you before leaning into his side comfortably. "Cas is talking to the baby, he even got to feel our little guy move around."

Looking at Sam Castiel smiled, "It is very fascinating. I have always been curious about mothers and their babies." Lifting his hand from your stomach and standing up Cas seemed nervous for a moment.

"I must go but, may I come again and talk to the child?"

Smiling wide you nodded, "Your welcome any time Cas, he needs to get to know his uncle."

Seeing the big smile on the angels face almost made you cry, you'd never seen him so excited before. Telling him bye before he left you snuggled closer into Sams side. Tightening his hold on you he laid his own hand over your belly and you sighed in contentment. Moments like these were your favorite, wrapped up in Sams arms and feeling the movements of your son just made you feel more at peace and happy than you had been in a long time.

"I can't wait to meet him." Sam kissed your forehead as he rubbed soothing circles into your belly.

"Me either, I miss being able to see my feet." Giggling slightly you continued to sit there with Sam until you were lulled into a sense of peace and began drifting off to sleep.

"I love you Sam."

"I love you too Y/N."

Kinda corny I know but for some reason I just had the random thought of an adorable Cas and reader moment like this and had to write it out!
